Osu is on probation and under scholarship reductions.

Good for Urban. But OSU didn't back off Foster, Michigan did. So, try again.
I bet if Foster was known to smoke "legal" weed you'd have a different opinion, huh?
fricking hypocrites.

What are these so called "character issues" with Foster anyway? I certainly haven't seen anyone reputable reporting on them. Or did they only show up once he professed not having a good visit to OSU?

Why don't you keep your arse on the LSU Recruiting Board where you and Cadello can bitch at everyone who doesn't believe LSU produces the finest players that God ever created?

Thanks for the heads up brah, I'll let Saban know ASAP.

If he tries any shite he'll be waterboarded.

Analyze That is one of those rantards that proclaimed LSU was DEFINITELY gonna win on January 9th. Since he was wrong then, he feels the need to sully the Alabama recruiting thread to make up for his team's shortcomings. Pay him no mind.
Oh, I forgot to add the customary ranter cry of 9-6. I apologize.
I would like to point out that Analyze That finally joins our conversation after 305 pages. Thanks douche.

He sure had a long and suspicious absence after the NC. Maybe he was teabagged at Krystal?

Things heating up for Nkemdiche
The nation’s No. 1 recruit, Grayson defensive end Robert Nkemdiche, has long been rumored to be a lock for the defending national champion Alabama Crimson Tide. As of late, however, the buzz has been about other schools making a move for his services, creating a mini panic among die-hard Alabama recruitniks. The latest is that Clemson, LSU and Ole Miss have certainly made things interesting. Ole Miss is selling the idea of Nkemdiche playing with his brother, Denzel Nkemdiche, who signed with the Rebels in 2011 as a safety. Clemson is pitching its 4-3 defense under new defensive coordinator Brent Veneables. The Tigers have recruited well, and Dabo Swinney is known as a players coach. Also Nkemdiche’s teammate Wayne Gallman committed to Clemson on Wednesday. LSU entered the picture after Nkemdiche visited Baton Rogue the weekend of March 17-18 and afterward told Michael Carvell of the Atlanta-Journal Constitution that the visit rated a perfect 10. LSU’s defense speaks for itself and the sometimes-crazy Les Miles makes an impression with recruits. So where does that leave us? Nkemdiche had previously schedule an announcement for May 18, but the decision date could change as the 6-foot-4, 270-pounder weighs his options. One source told me that Nkemdiche wants to visit all four schools again before his makes up mind and makes an announcement. One source told me that Alabama is still in good shape but that Clemson and LSU have made up significant ground. As of right now, I don’t expect Nkemdiche to announce on May 18.
Does Foster’s transfer changes things?
So now that five-star linebacker Reuben Foster has finally transferred to Auburn High School what does that mean for the 2013 commitments recruitment? According to Foster, he is still committed to Alabama and he plans to sign with the Crimson Tide on NSD 2013. Being in Auburn University’s backyard is certainly a wrench, but it is not a sign of doom for UA. The UA will have to stay on top of Foster, but that was the case no matter where he went to school. However, one this is for sure. Until NSD, there will be some nervous folks around the state and in Tuscaloosa. But for now, all you can do is take Foster at his word that he is firmly committed to Alabama.
Feeling good
After Utah quarterback Cooper Bateman’s recent visit to Tuscaloosa, Alabama feels good about its chances to land the Rivals250 signal caller. Alabama is looking for one big-time quarterback commitment in the 2013 class and Bateman could be the one. He really enjoyed his visit to campus during his southeast recruitment trip, and the UA staff showed him how much it wants him. Another big-time prospect to watch for is Jacksonville defensive end Demarcus Walker. Florida is really strong with the 6-foot-4, 255-pound Rivals250 member, but he also likes the Alabama program. The feeling is mutual from the UA staff, who thinks Walker could shine in the Crimson Tide’s stellar defense.
Devonta Pollard
It’s coming down to decision time for the five-star recruit Devonta Pollard. The 6-foot-7 forward visited Alabama over the weekend and will travel to Georgetown this weekend. The Alabama staff has done a great job of selling Pollard’s mother that Tuscaloosa is the place for her son. One source told me that Alabama feels good about its chance. Another source said not to expect a decision from Pollard until the middle of next week.
A-Day commitments?
Alabama got its ninth commitment on March 26 from Georgia offensive guard Andy Dodd. The weekend of A-Day has traditionally seen at least one or more commitments for the Crimson Tide. Will this weekend be any different? One name to watch is McGill-Toolen athlete Jason Smith ,who loves the Crimson Tide. Smith has some work to do in the classroom, and that might affect whether or not he commits or waits until his senior season.

And I know some folks close to Austin Allen from my time living in NWA. He's more open to leaving than Hog fans want to admit. He's tired of his brother's shadow.
This isn't some state secret that you're privy to here. Its been widely known for awhile that he may not want to sit behind Brandon again and Coach Patton flat out said that while speaking for Austin awhile back in a recruiting article.
However, he has also been to a ton of our spring practices and has been at every scrimmage. The kid is a a huge Hog fan but is faced with a tough choice here. QB is probably the worst position to have brothers play because its the one position where only one is going to play. With them being so close in age it just compounds the problem.
I think at the end he will be torn to leave the state but he has never been the stone cold lock Brandon was who committed to Arkansas early and then had Coach Patton say thanks but no thanks to any colleges that called to recruit him.
