Honestly, state schools should be entirely closed to non citizens. If you want to come here to go to school, go private. (No grants or scholarships though. Even private scholarships if the private school takes any form of federal funding)

Insecure people really take that great replacement theory stuff to heart.
When whitey does it, it's gentrification or cultural imperialism. When black and brown people do the exact same thing, it's multiculturalism. The folks promoting the demographic shifts in Texas would be horrified if 20 million whites moved to Africa or South Asia and immediately altered the political and social trajectory of wherever they moved.

Letting smart kids go to school there? While having a competitive athletic program? People of color make you feel unsure of yourself? Is that a thing in your athletic program? You should engage and broaden your approach to life. This suggestion for you is coming from a conservative person.

This was definitely not the case in Louisiana. And you can be maga and not be a maga racist.

It’s a shame what is happening to North GA cities like Cumming. Absolute takeover. It’s dangerous too. Start taking over the local city councils. They don’t tip. Every one has a Student Driver sticker. They lack spatial awareness and are simply rude/ignorant. They hate dogs too so they suck a bunch more for that reason.
I see it as the equivalent of someone coming into your house with their shoes on and taking a shite in the center of your living room. No respect for customs or traditions. I’m an a-hole now. I tried being accommodating and tolerant etc for a couple years. Now I’m just like GTFO of my way. They pack ten into a household or apartment. Put the house in the grandparents name to avoid paying school taxes. Leave garbage out all the time.
Also, batting cages are for baseball - not for cricket.
No more Student Drivers!

Sure Jan. If you go looking for something, you'll find it. Sounds like you found what you were looking for.

The days of your Chamber of Commerce types voting Republican are almost over. There has been a paradigm shift in American politics the last 15 years or so. The Bush/Cheney types and the DC neocons are voting for Democrats instead of MAGA Republicans, and immigration is specifically one of the key issues behind that shift (foreign policy realism is the other). On the other hand, more working class people are voting for Republicans than they have in a long time, largely because they have the most to lose if unfettered immigration continues.

I think that had something to do with, especially consindering her BFF got in with less than stellar credentials. Pretty sure a Jeet got her spot.
That's why I'm against any foreign student taking the place of an American student. American can mean any ethnicity.
She went to Southern Union, did "Pathway to the Plains" and is in her junior year at Auburn now in Chemical Engineering. AU almost fricked up. This kid is going to do great things and sit at the head of tables.

I grew up in Garland, TX and within a 20 mile radius you would have huge Mexican communities, Muslim communities, Ethiopian communities, Asian communities especially Vietnamese and a spattering of others.
Most of these sister fricking, trailer park jug heads that is the SEC have no idea what you're talking about. Each of the DFW Metroplex or the Greater Houston area are more populous than most of the SEC states, and combined more populous than all but Florida. The large cultural communities you speak of didn't just spring up overnight. They've been growing for generations.
Especially disgusting in this thread are the ridiculous comments from aggy, aggy knows better, or should.

Have you been living under a rock for the last decade? How could you possibly ignore what's going on in France, UK, Spain, etc. and of course IN THE U.S. from 2020-2024
My guess is that you haven’t left a 100 mile radius in your entire life. Have you been to those places that terrify you? As I already mentioned most those people pictured there have families that have been in the USA for more than two decades. These aren’t people that got here last year and decided to enroll in school and be Texas fans. These aren’t people families that have been here but didn’t show up in your orbit until now.

It’s not racist when it’s based on behavioral consistencies. It’d be one thing for me to just hate Indians because they’re brown and from Indian and “smell like curry.” It’s another when I’ve seen a theme of “frick you, we will use your resources and loopholes (h1b visa university etc, seniors taking over the ten person household to avoid taxes and giving back to the community you are taking from, renting shite from CostCo and other retailers and returning it used and yes smelling like curry where no other consumer in their rightful mind would want to rebuy such bullshite), we won’t respect your local customs or traditions.” That’s different. But yeah be all woke. Jesus. What have they done in Austin?
