It works both ways. They probably don’t want to become a doctor at home and have to drive a taxi in NYC because their degree isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on here either. This is such a weird hangup some of you have. What evidence do you even have that they aren’t US born citizens? I grew up in Garland, TX and within a 20 mile radius you would have huge Mexican communities, Muslim communities, Ethiopian communities, Asian communities especially Vietnamese and a spattering of others. Hell, my wife was a foreign exchange student back in the day from a former Communist country. And….so what? Are you somehow worth more if you’re born here instead of being a child of an immigrant? (Legal immigrant that is) aggy doesn’t embrace the diversity that Texas does…shocker!

Those kids either stay in the US and make this country better OR they return home with actual exposure to what makes the US the greatest nation on earth and they do what they can to re-create that in their own nations while having the knowledge that they were accepted in the US, treated well and allowed to get a superb education. Their families are also thankful and therefore have a better view of the US than they’d have otherwise. This has been so for about 125 years or so….it is a big part of US security at home and abroad. I know many among us wishes foreigners weren’t allowed to to set foot in the US but it is and always will be far better for more foreigners to do so because they will realize we ain’t terrifying war mongers bent on their destruction but are instead mostly good people with big hearts and welcoming attitudes who arent scared
Of our own shadows.

If any of this is true one must ask why someone with your abilities and talents sells their skills to an employer who is as badly managed as you claim it is? Better yet, why not hang out your own shingle and beat them out….if they’re as poorly managed as you claim it would not take much to take their entire market share. Unless of course you’re unwilling to do the work required, which is reasonable, to take their market share….but that’s a decision you are making, not one being forced on you.

If your job requires a security clearance NO foreign national can take your job because citizenship is a requirement for all levels of security clearance in government service. That is highly unlikely to ever change. That does not mean that us citizens who were once citizens of another country may not get your position, as far as citizenship goes if they are a citizen they are as qualified as you are. If they’re not a citizen they can’t get a security clearance.

Well I’m MAGA and have zero problem with legal immigrants or gay people. I’m not racist either. So I’m not sure where we go from here. Back in the 90’s when I was in HS race just wasn’t even a thing. Having a black friend or dating a Latina just wasn’t a source of criticism.

I don't think you're getting my argument. If you live in an "at will" state, you are not entitled to it. If someone comes in equally or more qualified and willing to work for less, you most likely won't have that job. Sounds like you have a good job and I'm sure there are people gunning for it; therefore, as I said, you are not entitled to it.

The eyes see what the person wants to see many times. If one is convinced any shortcomings in their lives is due to a foreigner being in the US it is highly likely that person is beyond logical and critical thinking…they are emotionally distraught and likely to feed their feelings and not take a detached view of their world. If that person is a white, straight male in the US and has not become wealthy and powerful it is almost always due to their own decision making. I know I am a white straight male and I made a decision to hunt, fish and enjoy life instead of doing the work required to become wealthy and powerful….and for me it was the right decision. It certainly is not due to someone who is not white being wealthy and powerful, it is due to life choices I made…and I have few regrets.

Being a homophobic racist is not required of one to be MAGA but it does put one in league with homophobic racists. They are the foundation of the GOP base currently.
