They take smart foreign students whose parents can pay full fare. It's all about the money. When my son was at Vanderbilt law school, there were a lot of Chinese students. Most could barely speak English, but their families paid full tuition.

FWIW, it cracks me up that people make such a fuss about different ethnicities not assimilating in the US, then they get bent out of shape when those ethnicities are going nuts at a football game and throwing hook em horns around.
