The only ref where articles were written celebrating his retirement.

That was the funniest shite I've ever seen. Wasn't funny at the time but that video always cracks me up now.

These refs don’t hold a candle to SEC basketball refs over the years.

Doug Shows just T'd this post up. It's not basketball season, nor is this a basketball game. He just needed to remind you that the fans are there to watch him work.

That would be the gent who gave a Florida/the almighty Tebow a free win when they were badly outplayed by the Hogs on their home field

I vote for Penn Wagers. That dude had a hard on for Georgia every time they played. I hated to see him call a Georgia game, of any kind. A close second would be Marc Curles. I think I saw where he was a Ga Teck guy. It seems he had trouble calling a Georgia game, that is being unbiased.

If you are an official, calling a game, and you care who wins, you are in the wrong business.

The ref that tackled Steven Garcia when they played LSU but would not when SC played Bama.

Penn Wagers on games.

Wagers was the SEC equivalent of Angel Hernandez. When you saw Wagers as the ref for your game, you knew there was going to be something weird.

Tommy Lorino……you could always count on a holding call against Alabama during a big play in a big game…..called one against Alabama vs Georgia that only he saw.

Rogers Redding

Way back in 1993 Al vs Miami NC game he threw multiple flags on AL including a laughed-at flag for “spinning the ball” in the end zone.

As TV “expert” in the 2012 NC game, Al vs ND, he totally flubbed commenting on a call that then caused a broadcast-long nasty commentary.

Early in that game AL received a punt, and after fair catch was signaled, the receiver was plowed when he juggled the ball, ND recovered but it was ruled interference and procession was returned to AL.

Redding mumbled and flubbed on national TV… and the announcers went nuts talking about ref bias for AL… but if a fair catch is signaled on a punt, you cannot hit receiver until the ball hits the ground. ND clearly plowed the receiver long before ball hit ground.

Redding’s inability to correctly identify the rule on TV caused immense controversy at the time… and mistaken understanding of that call continues today. Fortunately AL dominated the game but he was clearly incompetent…

This times 10. That a-hole thinks the arena is full to watch him blow calls. What a pompous dick!

Just for that the REC is calling an egregious targeting foul on Auburn's best defender before the Iron bowl next year.
