That might be the greatest chicken attack video and song ever… OMG

I’ve heard that USCe biology dept was funding “gain of function” research in Ireland using roosters. How soon does this obscene perversion of science spread to the US causing untold deaths.

Imagine if peaceful friendly mascots of other schools were hi-bred and trained to attack people?

Rooster kills man…WTF USCe?

“…rooster with a violent past kills man with attack…” headlines for article linked.

Was this guy a sheep humper? Have you been cloning attack chickens? Is anyone safe in the barnyard? We want ANSWERS!

LSU would have won edit: at least 15 more national titles had skip Bertman just gave pat henry what he wanted (and deserved).

And you hadn’t fired Will Wade, the greatest basketball coach in history who was a lock to win 11 MBB championships and who was unfairly accused of stuff recorded by the FBI and who cares about that cause they should have told the NCAA to go F themselves..

And if the refs in about 14 games hadn’t been controlled by the REC…

And if the SEC recognized on campus rape and off campus mugging, shooting and robbery as a sport

And if other SEC teams didn’t cheat because how else could they beat “all that talent?”

And if the SEC office wasn’t in Birmingham..

And if LSU had said “FU” to the cheating Bama-controlled SEC and just gone to the big12..

And if the SEC office in Birmingham didn’t manipulate LSUs schedule making them play Florida … and play Arky when it’s cold with no hot chocolate, and ole Miss when it’s hot and don’t allow all games to be played at midnight in Tiger Stadium..

And if the ESPN, CBS, the NCAA, SEC, FBI, CIA, NAACP, BSA, all the rating voters in all sports, and all the NCAA coaches of all other teams, and all the press people…. all hate and are jealous of LSUs perennial success and world famous athletic program so they have to cheat them and vote them down because everyone knows that with all that talent that’s the only way the mighty tiggers could ever lose…
But if you had read this board two months ago LSU was a potential final four team, certainly a lock for high seed. LSUers: at your feet or at your throat…
Who the frick would downvote a completely non controversial, non partisan, baseball factoid rule that might actually be important in the SEC soon?

Oh yeah… LUSers I guess. Geeezzz LUSers, what a bunch of losers.
GRD - Yes.

The origin of this rule goes back to pre and 1920s when SRO crowds were allowed into the outfield to watch a game. Ushers would hold ropes to keep crowd back from the boundary of the playing field. If the boundary was closer than 250 ft, a ball hit over the rope was a ground rule double.

When the Dodgers moved to LA, they first played in the Coliseum. The left field line for about 10 ft was within 250 ft. Lots of umpire discretion calls happened.

That's nice insurance against Tommy John.

Venditte actually injured his right arm but continued to pitch rest of season lefty. The rule even addresses injury in the course of an at bat.

This is one of the most amazing rules in baseball.

Another is…in MLB - batter hits a ball over the fence in left field, the fence is less than 250 ft from home plate (think temporary fence extending short distance onto field).

What is the call?
Here is a MLB and NCAA rule for thought…

An ambidextrous pitcher is facing a switch hitter. How many times in one at bat can the players switch plate address?

This actually occurred in 2008. The ambidextrous pitcher, Pat Venditte, would take his pitching stance, then the switch hitting batter would call time and switch boxes. Then the pitcher would switch arms, address the plate again, and again the batter would switch boxes.

This occurred nine times in a minor league pro game. Finally the umpire ruled the batter had to pick a box then the pitcher chose which arm. The pitcher then struck the batter out. The entire sequence was played on TV many times because of the unique situation.

Afterwards, a new rule was made that is still on the rule books. The pitcher must indicate which hand he will pitch with before facing the batter.

See the Pat Venditte rule, wiki link below.

Now you know…the rest of the story.
Is this a melt? Is this another LUSer on about “scheduling?” It kinda feels like a poorly disguised old school LSU melt…

WBB: who will recruit trannies first?

Posted by Jacknola on 2/13/23 at 11:55 am
For a few minutes this week I tried watching WBB, basically bad junior high school level basketball, amazed that anyone took it seriously. Then I started wondering what school would be the first to start three 6-6 trannys and win every game by 50?

Keep in mind a couple of years ago the US woman’s National soccer team, the best in the world, played a pickup 40 minute practice game against an under-15 year old boys team from the Dallas area …. and lost, 5-2.

I think the trannys will appear first at UCLA or some West Coast school. By the way, what do you call a tranny that likes girls?

t’s hilarious how much effort you put in these long arse posts. You know there’s not a word count, right?

Just trying to cull the grammar school types who prefer posts of one syllable grunts and one sentence of cuss words to thoughtful content.

You do know that this is a CHAT board? I suggest you just read your comic books and leave The Catcher in the Rye to adults.
Sometimes I think LUSers don’t realize how hard it is to win a championship, in any sport. Well…Think about Sir Charles who famously never won a championship in any sport from age six through retirement…except for the Olympic gold medal.

Alabama has had the second best record in basketball in the history of the SEC. Among others, the rocket eight team of 1958 was widely thought to be the best in the nation but didn’t even play in the NCAAs.

No I won’t be disappointed. Help me understand how it’s better to lose in the finals rather than round of eight? Does anyone actually keep track of that? Do you get a “2nd Nationally” ring?…nah, no one would do that.
Hummm… you do know, don’t you, that while you’ve been getting your butt beat by Kansas, TCU, and Baylor, “lil bro” has been away at school with bullies like Alabama, LSU, Florida etc?

I’m thinking you might find out “lil bro” has grown up… good luck horns..

OU and Texas coming in 2024

Yeah…right… coming on Dec. 31, 2024… after the football season is over for them (but before the season is over for Alabama.,

Everyone knows that in math and language, two negatives equal a positive. Well…can anyone quote a case of two positives equaling a negative? Yeah…right…
quote:

He's never won "the big one." Alabama is screwed

OMG!!… I guess Alabama shouldn’t have hired Kiffin or Sark because neither had ever “won the big one.”

Let me know how that requirement for hiring an assistant coach works out.

No great. But to be fair, it was much better before Sherman razed it...

Well, he razed Atlanta first… so…
Who do you have the most confidence for football coaching decision making:

1. LSU rape-ball program under Les Miles;
2. Alabama football program under Nick Saban?

Uhhh … I’ll take door number two, Monty!

re: Final Answer Rees and Steele

What did you think of hiring Kiffin?
What did you say about Sark…either time?
What about Pruitt after his personal issues?

I think these are two solid hires who will mesh. Read that word…mesh. No team does well with egocentric asst coaches. I’ve always liked Steele and don’t know much about Rees except he is young and sought after.

Two thumbs up… or at least one and one-half.

re: Saban is done!

Steele has a lot of experience, knowledge, was successful at Auburn. Good recruiter, Knows Saban and Alabama. IVs always liked him., we could do a lot worse.

Dont judge him by the train wreck at LSU that he was blamed for. Instead, look at the program there at that time.
