Dunno if the bottom is in or not but I do think it'll be very bumpy the rest of the year.

Prices increases and some inflation will ramp up a bit if 10% tariffs are here to stay. Inflation may not be bad but we've been fighting inflation for several years now, even if it only goes up 1% the market will not like it at all.

Haven't really felt the impact of the China trade war yet.

Job reports are gonna get real ugly here soon. I work at a global bank and I've been looking at internal jobs because my manager sucks, internal listings were cut by 40% in the last 2 weeks alone. That's likely happening at every big company.

Still a lot more bumps to come this year imo.

I think a lot of people don't realize how crazy Q3 has the potential to be. I hope I'm wrong and it was just a hiccup, but what I'm seeing in regards to my industry is that we'll start seeing things get a little wonky towards the end of June.

I think job reports are going to start getting incredibly ugly in the coming months. I work for a huge worldwide bank and they've slashed 40% of their job listings in the past 2 weeks. I imagine similar is going on at most big companies.
UK fans you'll just have to embrace the hate. It's not like you're doing anything illegal.

It's just eye opening that you're spending around what Ohio State paid for it's natty in football.. except for 13 players not 85. So expect it to come up a lot.

It is what it is though. I'm sure this will eclipsed soon in coming years by another team lol.
Paying Aberdeen 2.2 mil to come off the bench is absolutely wild.

Interesting.

All these 3 guard lineups are why I'm stoked about Haugh at the 3.

Chinyelu/Condon/Haugh could be one of the best offensive rebounding frontcourts in a very long time.

We may not shoot as well as last year but we're going to absolutely obliterate the boards.

Well, it makes sense to have two, so probably just one game in Gainesville. They’ll probably make Kentucky play Arky twice and Florida plays Auburn twice. Do you think Florida can repeat?

I think I'm more bullish on our roster than most Gator fans. IMO Haugh at the 3 next year is gonna be an absolute handful for most teams. We'll have 3 of the best offensive rebounders in the country on the floor most of the game. We crushed everyone on the boards when only 2 of them were on the floor at once this year.

If Lee is as advertised and we can get solid production out whatever SG we put on the floor I think our roster will have the potential to repeat. It's highly unlikely but the potential is there IMO (unless Condon stays in the draft or we lose another player unexpectedly).

UF vs UK will definitely have some extra juice next year now, should be fun.

UK is stacked.. our frontcourt is stacked plus Lee. Do we get 2 regular season games next year?

UK gonna pay Aberdeen 2 mil to be a bench player and play 15 mins a game?

Doesn't sound logical. But I guess if UK is actually spending 20+ mil on its roster it's certainly possible.
UK is paying the 7th man off our bench 2 mil next year.

Wild times in college sports.

Apparently UK offered him 2 mil, so no real surprise we wouldn't pay that.

Also hearing UK is spending 20+ mil on its roster next season. That's wild.

Aberdeen is a great supporting cast type player but he's not a PG imo. Maybe UK promised him point I dunno.

His handle is OK not great and he vision might be the weakest part of his game. Once he commits to going to the rim he almost always goes himself and rarely ever finds and open man to pass to.

He is a solid shooter, defender, and has the confidence to make a play when the team might need him to.

Stings he's going to UK but I guess they're paying him well. Congrats UK and good luck Zel.
Any business owner who tries to mix politics with business is an idiot.
Losing Aberdeen stings but our frontcourt is our main strength next year and I think losing him is less of a blow than 1 of our frontcourt guys.

Haugh is gonna kill it at the 3 imo. Dude has Horford/Noah level basketball IQ. Offense will run through Haugh and Lee.
UF ruining #1 FSU's season in the last 2 minutes at the swamp in 97.
Ego has clearly blinded anyone in Nico's camp from being able to accurately value his worth and leverage.

And they're going to keep doubling down since ego is involved.

This will end very ugly for them.
He will get what he deserves.. less money for mediocre play.
Like others said id probably put it in a HYS/MM and wait a bit.

Who knows where we go from here with tariffs/trade wars. Gonna be pretty unpredictable until that stuff is behind us.

If I see a reversal on a very large timeframe, like a monthly chart, I might consider putting some in the S&P.

As long as any part of a trade war is going on I wouldn't expect any long term upward trends.

Going to be very bumpy until all trade wars and tariffs are completely behind us. Just too much uncertainty, something the market despises.
I'm so pumped for Haugh to play the 3 next year. He was a terror on the boards as a 4/5, I'm salivating having him at the 3. I think we're gonna run our whole offense through him. Dude's basketball IQ is off the charts.

Haugh at the 3 next year. I'm pumped, we're gonna be otherwordly on the boards with Haugh at the 3.

Just gotta find a solid guard or 2 in the portal.
