I guess we have decided we're just gonna live and die by the 3 this year and not change offensive identity despite being a poor shooting team.
Luckily UT keeps turning it over. Don't think they can match our rebounding intensity either.
But imo we could be a much better team if we didn't jack up 30 3s a game and ran the offense through Haugh on th e block.

Ugly ending we are lucky Georgia is not hitting shots.
We are rarely able to put teams away cause we turn it over a lot and can't shoot.

All Mike White needs to do is run zone and hope we shoot our average this year which close to last in division 1.

Boogie needs to make 2 or 3 minimum. He's had a ton of games where he's 1 for 8 or 9.
Boogie needs to start making shots or we need to change the whole offense to run through Haugh in the post. Boogie and Condon are both 20% or under in 3pt % this year. Embarrassing and time to change the offense imo. No point in running a perimeter based offense and bricking 3s the rest of the year with our size. Golden needs to adapt or Mike White is gonna whoop him lol.

That UF vs UGA line is crazy considering they're 13-1 and we just lost to Mizzou cause we're such an awful shooting team that a simple zone defense destroys us.

But Mike White is 13-1 going into the UF game tonight.
This is about the time of year his teams start to collapse.
How are we feeling about this one? Any coach who doesn't zone us at this point should be fired. We are one of the worst shooting teams in the country. You gotta at least try and then drop it if we're somehow shooting well.

We are literally one of the worst shooting teams in the country.
Our games will be close vs any SEC team with a pulse this year cause we can't hit shots.
And we will probably lose most of them cause we can't hit shots.

Just having a Roth at 20 is a big win good job!
Personally my mix is 60% s&p, 25% international, and 15% small/mid cap.
Like others said at your age putting it all in s&p is probably fine. Just having a Roth at all at 20 puts you ahead of 99.9% of peers so don't overthink it too much.

Yes if Lee and Fland can just be average.. consistently we can be really good. It just hasn't happened. Lee has had 2 solid games in a row now so that's a start.
The 2nd half of this game is I think the 1st time all year Golden has specifically told the team to not shoot 3s unless wide open.
Hopefully this continues going forward. We are not last year's team we can't just get hot and start jacking 3s. We don't have great shooting. Only take them if wide open due to ball movement.

Our frontcourt is our identity this year. Time to focus the offense on them instead of bricking 3s all year.

If we can ever find shooting or decent guard play we will be a force. We've had 1 possession losses vs 2 top 5 teams despite shooting horribly.

Our frontcourt has been next level dominant on the glass. They're single handedly keeping us in games despite being turnover prone and 1 of the worst shooting teams in the country. Haugh has taken the next step we had hoped and is one of the best players in the country imo.
Guard play and shooting has been atrocious. Fland has been mediocre to bad every game except the Duke game. Hopefully he can use that as progress moving forward. Lee has been so bad he's becoming unplayable. Klavzar is our only shooting threat at guard thus far but is also a big liability on defense and as a ball handler.
We are severely flawed thus far due to guard play. However if we can ever find consistent shooting and guard play we can be very very good.
Conclusion: I doubt our guard play will be consistent enough this year to be a true title contender. But we will still be one of the scariest teams in the tourney to face. Our frontcourt is so dominant on the glass that if we ever do have a solid shooting game our ceiling is as high as anyone in the country.

SEC East was quite weak during Kirby's run.
Spurrier played 2 of the top 10 programs in the 90s every single year. Plus he played Bama with Stallings most years in the early to mid 90s.
Not sure how much the Kirby had it tougher arguments really hold up.
And that's ignoring Spurrier's 10 to 11 win seasons at South Carolina during the absolute peak of SEC dominance.

Yah they gotta start hitting shots at some point. Our frontcourt is great but we need some shooting to go along with them.
