Why be so dishonest? Next season Bama plays Louisville.

LSU plays SELA and Rice

LSU plays Miami next season. Again, why be so dishonest?

Because they're smart. The Committee still hasn't proven that you must have a strong OOC schedule to get in the playoff.

It is still much more valuable to be undefeated than it is to have played a good OOC team and lost. And if you drop a second game in conference, good bye playoff hopes.

Except they canceled a home and home series because they wouldnt do a neutral site game

Why should they. The Committee has proven that Alabama can play however soft a schedule they want... can still lose a game... and as long as they beat up badly on the cupcakes they'll have a spot reserved in the Playoff.

Can't say they haven't earned that respect from the committee, but its true. At this point, why should they schedule anyone difficult?

Per the reports when this all kind of bubbled up last summer they do get more from 1 CFA/Dallas game than they do over a split home and home. I'm not sure it's a ton, though.

But, I don't really think that's even a minor reason for it.

You played Syracuse and BYU the last two years. Why do y'all suddenly give a shite about OOC scheduling. Bama certainly doesn't have shite to prove to anyone. Matter of fact yalls OOC scheduling has sucked the last few years. You lost to an undermanned Wisconsin team without a QB and you can't beat your cupcakes either.

If they do its minor. The revenue from a neutral after cost makes it negligible

We scheduled a top 3 team this year in Florida State. We scheduled a top 10 Southern Cal the year before. We scheduled a top 10 Michigan in 2012. We scheduled a perennial Top 20 Wisconsin in 2015.

You can argue about home and homes (I wish we did them), but you can't argue we haven't scheduled teams that EVERYONE thought were heavyweights going into the season.

Bama's OOC schedule since Saban arrived has been better than anyone else in the SEC

We don't have to. Though we will play Louisville and Duke. 2020 is just not scheduled yet.

A question for 7SU fans....

Why can't you hire a good head coach? Not a GOAT, not a great coach but just a good coach?

Why can you guys not retain a decent OC?

Maybe 7SU is a stepping stone coaching job?

Step it up 7SU.

He's always disingenuous when it comes to Bama. He'll spend hours coming up with a wall of stats to make Bama look bad somehow.

We were supposed to play each other in 2019 and 2020, but both schools cancelled.

quote:

The Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have indefinitely postponed their home-and-home football series that was scheduled for 2019 and 2020, AL.com has reported. Alabama and Georgia Tech initially agreed to play in 2013 and 2014, but the series was later pushed back to 2019 in Tuscaloosa and 2020 in Atlanta.
.

The series record is actually very close. This use to be a big annual game.

quote:

Alabama and Georgia Tech haven’t met since a 16-6 Yellow Jackets victory in Atlanta in 1984. The Crimson Tide lead the overall series 28-21-3, which dates back to 1902.

This is a bunch of bullshite. Alabama has had one of the most difficult regular season non-conference schedules in the SEC over the last 10 years.

They don’t need to. Plus, the only team on Bama’s schedule is Bama.

Imma shut these retards down: Bama's OOC games since Saban arrived:

Does this list look like a team that is avoiding scheduling quality opponents:

2007: Florida State
2008: Clemson
2009: Virginia Tec
2010: Penn State
2011 Penn State
2012: Michigan
2013: West Virginia
2014: Virginia Tech
2015: Wisconsin
2016: Southern Cal
2017: Florida State
2018 Louisville
2019: Duke (suck)
2020: TBD but in Dallas
2021: Miami

Really the LSU penis envy is strong. You folks comeback once you beat someone that is somebody and often. You have a record and it's not the one you brag about.
