But even if they don't deserve it, they always get the benefit of the doubt.
It's how they got the benefit of the doubt this year over Ohio State despite not winning their division. It's how they were able to get a rematch with LSU in 2011 despite not winning their division.
You also failed to mention that Alabama WON BOTH Championships in these 2 years you mention proving them to be absolutely correct with their choice.
