Yet your all world QB put up a whopping 14 points against powerhouse ( for the ACC ) N.Carolina. Come play with the big boys, week end after week end & then count up your NC's. You'd just be another A&M in the SEC West.

One. Les Miles for ten years. Two Louisiana has not developed top QBs for more than a decade. Ryan Perrilieux in 2007 and Shea Paterson a few years ago.. LSU passed on Paterson.

That Paradym is now broken.

Btw based upon actual game performance ...Trevor was one of the worst QBs LSU played against in 2019. So who cares. Tua was far batter than Lawrence. Trask of Florida better than Lawrence. Ehlinger far better than Lawrence.. Jordan Love. Even the Northwestern St QB better than Lawrence.

Lawrence was in Kellen Mond and Bo Nix category

A majority of them turned out to be great QBs. Like Russell Shepard.

But you don't get the #1 trophy every year.

Years of caveman offense with Less. What QB would want to play in that? We'll start pulling them now though

Is it really lack of quarterback talent?

The offensive schemes under Miles made Jim Tressel offenses look aggressive.

When has this happened?

2019 was Orgeron's third year, he's just now getting his recruits in.

Didnt it take Dabo 7 years just to get to the national championship?

4*s dont always work out.

Also playing 13 easy games a year is hard to recruit against

I'm gonna ignore any trolling aspect to this;

seems like Les Miles had an ingrained scheme mismatch.

He was stuck on a conservative prostyle, running offense, but for whatever reason he chased the mobile dual threat guys.
Even a generic guy like Etling was a better fit than the guys he'd recruit... for the system he ran. He wanted guys with big arms, that could run; and then stuck them in a system they weren't used to.

Orgeron and Ensminger seem to have found the correct pairing of QB and system.

And lets not pretend Trevor has set the world on fire either.

It's a fair question.
Your state borders Texas - which has arguably produced the best qbs the past 15 years.

Mack Brown lost his job because he picked the wrong Texas qb recruits his last 5 years.

Why does it matter? They just developed a record breaking QB who had the best season in CFB history.

LSU's current head coach has held that position for three seasons and currently has one 3 star QB (TJ Finley) and three 4 star QBs (Myles Brennan, Peter Parrish, and Max Johnson).

I'm not sure what the "fair question" is since the OP isnt really true.

So did Les Miles.
