If you haven’t noticed, LSU hasn’t exactly had the best offensive scheme the past decade
I would tend to believe this is what it is. Bama did not recruit lights out at QB until Blake Barnett. I think he was the first 5 star QB Saban got.

Saban kind of bungled the QB situation at LSU as well. All we had in 2004 was Marcus Randall (lol) and freshmen JaMarcus and Flynn

Hey Jim, why can't you make intelligent posts?
Are you representative of the typical Clemson fan? Let's hope not!

They have but up until this last year their offense has been a laughing stock.
QB development was the issue.

I thought you said you dont keep up with LSU?

And you are still trying to cope with LSU dominating your inferior team.

A large part of it is geography, the other part is scheme. South Louisiana has a ton of athletes, but most of the high schools in the area just put their best athletes at QB and run some kind of spread rushing attack. Part of this is due to the fact that the southern part of the state has more cajun genetics, so the players by and large shorter. The few cases where you have these taller, pocket-passers in the Southern half of the state tend to congregate at private schools who rarely send kids to LSU for a variety of reasons.
Most of the kids with better passing qb genetics live in North Louisiana, where kids are taller and more similar to the rest of the south or texas. Because these areas are closer to rival universities than they are to Baton Rouge, LSU rarely gets these kids either.
In addition, up until recently, LSU was running an offensive system that was very different from most hs’s in the state AND was perceived as a qb graveyard post 2007. QB recruits didn’t want to go there because it’s hard to get noticed making fewer than 20 throws per game. In addition, Miles focused recruitment on scrambling QBs, but tried to force them into this pocket passer pro-form system. It literally made zero sense.
Now that LSU seems to have evolved scheme wise, we’ll see if they can start cultivating talent locally to fit this new scheme.

couldn't beat LSU
Understatement. LSU spotted them a 10 point lead and then blew them out 35-8. That’s 2019 championship game Bama-level arse whooping.

That was a fing beat down.

Tell the truth, you didn't even know that the number 1 player in 2021 just decommitted and won't be back because Dabo has his policy

Guess this is Big Jims Theorpy....he's still having flashbacks of LSU making Clemson their BITCH

Way longer than that. The 2018 season, which people have stated that Burrow was average...although fans saw great things from him...ranks pretty high in LSU qb history from a yardage standpoint. His combined total in 2018 is a top 5 performance for LSU Qbs all time.
That should give you some perspective of our offense over the years. Not qb friendly at all.

T. Law looked like garbage in both playoff games... Which were the only teams he faced with a pulse all season.

ANOTHER JIM “Ain’t She” SWEET BOMB
Hey you Clemson Tard,
did you even read your own link.
This idiot gives the Myles Brennan Link
Miles Brennan (15,000+ yard passer) beats Sunshine’s arse (13,000+ yard passer) in HS
Miles Brennan holds every record in MS that the Favre’s ever set ... You heard of the Favre family
I remember reading this idiots garbage last year before my grandson set me up on the computer to be able to post in here.
Weren’t you the Clemson Sugar Plum running your suck in here about how Clemson was going to kick crap outta LSU?
Gloating after that 44-16 Bama beat down. lololololol
Somebody please bring up that link!
Hey Sweet, was your sphincter sucking buttermilk when LSU was at your 3 yard line with 2 minutes left a chance to make it 50-25 and utterly humiliate your ACC clown show
Myles Brennan is enough QB to kick your butts again Jim Sweet. Better watch North Carolina beating your ACC butts in 2021 recruiting now. Think Sunshine can get past Mack Brown this year without tripping over his own panties and that mountain of ACC cream puffs. Mack Brown gets that 2 point conversion last year and you don’t even make the playoffs
You’re a sweetie pie Jim “Ain’t She” Sweet
Back in the old days we’d find a big mouth like you from another school drunk n’ talking crap and we’d catch u and put honey on you and kick you around the red ant piles and watch you run screaming to jump in the Mississippi River while we all laughed.
You’re really full of yourself Ain’t ya Sweety!
We can have some real fun with this one
