I've been to every UNC v Clemson game in Clemson since the 1980s. Extremely welcoming and friendly fan base. Of course, our fans are pretty tame compared to LSU so I don't know how'll they'll react to you guys. :nana:
What good, modern stadiums, like the Battery, offer are OPTIONS. Different price points for seating and eating. You can get a cheap seat and spring for a hotdog and a domestic beer OR you can purchase box seating at multiple price points or go to restaurants on site from expensive steak restaurants to pizza joints.

Three GOATS
Holiday Bowl in San Diego is the winner

I went there a couple of years ago for Oregon vs. UNC.

Great weather
Downtown SD on the water
Lots of fans
Pre game and halftime flyovers (planes and helicopters) and parachutes into the stadium by the Navy

After game, visited friends in Palm Springs for great winter golf
^This. I think it's wide open in the Supers and at the CWS this year. Arky and LSU may stick out a little but agree there are no dominate teams this year.
Wut you talkin’ about Willis?
Replay of the USC @ BYU women's basketball game several years ago. Players complained of racist taunts. BYU conducts a thorough investigation and finds nothing.
This year will be a real mystery due to it being almost an entirely new roster. 18 players have been added after spring practice while 16 have departed. I think our total number of transfers in for next year is 36.

This team may not gel until mid season. I'm predicting 8 wins in his first season.
This is the end of the ACC as we know it. We had a good run.

Looking forward to joining the SEC in the coming years and reconnecting with our Southern Conference brethren.

The ACC will continue after the departure of Clemson, FSU, Miami, UNC et al, it will just be a lower tier league - great at the non revenue sports.

UNC is undefeated, swept ECU and beat Coastal last evening. Facing a big series this weekend with Stanford. :dude:
UNC alum and lifelong Tar Heel football fan.

I cannot stress how SHOCKED my fellow alums are with this move. This is so counter to the "Carolina Way" and our stuffy, too-good-for-football PTB and certain fans.

We're stoked that this move is finally getting UNC to move towards the modern era of college sports. Credit the new Chancellor who appears to have spearheaded this move - along with certain BOT members.

I think the 70-50 loss to JMU in Kenan and the beat down we received from Alabama in the Dean Dome were real eye openers for our administration. We needed to embrace the NIL era.
How 'bout that 2024/2025 offseason!

BB brought in to the change the football culture (or lack thereof) at UNC and get donors to increase NIL budget to Big Boy level.
I've lived in ATL for almost 40 years within 4 or so miles from the Tech campus. It is without a doubt the #1 asset of the State of Georgia and it's not even close. Just ask Gov. Kemp and any CEO of a Georgia based fortune 500 company.

I was so happy for Tech, and their fans, this past Saturday.

That said, the Dawgs are currently the best college football program in the nation.

Bottom line is that it is a "unique" rivalry that is almost beside the point.
What the hell are they yelling?
Agee. That series certainly didn't feel like only a regional contest. The viewing numbers support this.

"No problem" advancing in that environment? Really. The series ended with Arkansas hitting a walk off single to win the game 4 to 3 over the Heels for the Super Regional win.

Oh by the way, Arkansas had a dog pile celebration at second base as part of its extended celebration. I think it's fine but some here felt like the Heels celebrated too much after the LSU series win last evening.
I don't think UNC would have celebrated the way they did but for the circumstances. It was a terrific regional and the trio of games against LSU which definitely had a Super Regional feel to it. UNC defeated an LSU team playing very well as defending National Champions. Not a ho hum win. :nana:
Yeah, like 22 of our best players out for the game (most on defense).
