Not saying UGA's will be the best, but we're definitely experienced...

Stockton had 2900 yds passing, 24 TDs, 5 ints with 460 rushing and 10 rushing TDs.
Nate Frazier and Chauncey Bowens combined for 1500 yards rushing.

So, burst my bubble...who's backfield will be better?

Texas picked up two transfer running backs who can run and catch with the ball in Raleek Brown and "Hollywood" Smothers. Texas has brought in well-regarded freshman Derek Cooper. Combined with QB Arch Manning, I think UT-Austin should have one of the best backfields this year if all goes as expected.

The correct answer is obviously ole Miss.

We have Lacy and Chambliss, which isn't too shabby.

Chambliss: 3,937 passing, 22TDs with 527 rushing yards, 8TDs
Lacy: 1,567 yds rushing and 24 TDs

Tennessee's will be sneaky good with Desean Bishop. Heupel's offense always produces good running stats

The answer is probably Ole Miss due to Lacy alone.

I'll be interested to see if Kiffin can bring Durham back to life, and get the most out of Berry. Leavitt has wheels if he can stay healthy.

Yeah, I got a feeling ol Stockton and young Manning are on a head-to-head collision course at the Benz for the SECCG this season. Wouldn't surprise me if both teams were undefeated, ranked 1 and 2 and this might be the biggest game of the year...just a feelin.

Georgia has a smart (heh) and confident coach that wins you games through good play calls and confident decision-making. Kirby and staff are worth 1 or 2 wins a season all by themselves.

I like Auburn to have a strong showing in the backfield this year. Top 5 in the league

Mizzu dominated the SEC teams in rushing last season so maybe Mizzu if Simmons is the real deal.

Dont follow other schools like I do LSU but have listened to a few national media heads that love Miss State backfield and argue that its probably first in the league. When I heard this I admit I was shocked. I assumed Ole Miss with Lacy alone making them top tier but media loves them some state.

Brown against 3 ranked teams last year had 44 attempts for 111 yards and 2 TDS. about 2.5 yards a carry.

Sneaky good?

yes. I get the sense Golesh will pound the rock against every weak defense on the schedule.
