Ole Miss offered Lane the same contract.

Was loyal to Ole Miss, if he was going to phone it in, might as well do it in Baton Rouge where there's a culture of it

Who is feared most right now?

That would be a better question.

Comparing a coach coming off as the most wanted coach on the market to one that had never been a head coach is silly.

A question for you. Do you think people go to the circus because they are scared of the circus?

Kids go to circus because they want to test their fear of clowns!

They called DUI Pete Golding the most likable coach in the SEC and had Lane I think last or second to last, I rest my case

Personally, I consider Pete Golding more likeable than Lane Kiffin by a factor of at least 10. One seems like a normal guy you'd have a beer with, and the other doubles as an internet attention whore.

Is it really showing an anti-LSU bias to say that Pete Golding is more likeable than Lane Kiffin?

Couldn't and didn't are two different things, broski. Going 11-1 with a lone close loss to the eventual SEC championship on the road shows he had them at that level.

always seem to have a bias against LSU and part fear because I think they know deep down Louisiana and LSU's value when it comes to the sport and that this LSU football team and future LSU teams should basically be the Avengers of college football

Lane isn’t really feared? He could be if he earns it. Kirby had to do so

Maybe that is because Golding seems like a normal, functioning, adult man. Meanwhile, Kiffin seems like an infantile teenager, dates teenagers, seems creepy, talks like a metro-sexual, and also has the personality of a child deprived of attention.

I would say Lane just because he was offense. A lot of people thought Smart might not break through due to being too conservative after he took the job.

Yeah because I'm sure every program in the country would prefer Pete Golding as head coach over Lane Kiffin and hitch their hopes to him

It's the disparity with which they're separated on the rankings, I mean this is Lane Kiffin we're talking about the guy who made Ole Miss a respectable football team after the Matt Luke experiment
