well Naz Reid's obviously one of them
quote:

Damn, #127 in the portal and #28 SG. Rough, but gotta have bodies to fill a roster one way or the other I suppose.

It's Wade, he develops players to pro studs
quote:

Will Wade has returned
Tiger’s basketball savior
But he has no team.

This aged well

the dominos are falling :moon:
quote:

Matt McMahon was great at Murray State and was terrible at LSU. Big success at a small school means nothing

Do you not know Wade's track record over the course of his coaching career, my dude?
quote:

My point is that Georgia fans expect to win a playoff game - bye or no bye.

OK sure, cool, congrats, bro. I'm sure any school who makes the playoff not a G5 school expects to win a playoff game, not sure what that comment contributed.

UGA

UGA living in Bama's head now? my how the standard has fallen
quote:

So you think Georgia fans were expecting to just be a top 10 team the last two years? Or were they hoping/expecting to at least make it to the final four? I can tell you if you are unsure.

What are you talking about? There's no way in hell whatever point you're trying to make trumps mine, doesn't change the fact they got automatic byes to the quarterfinals of the playoffs by virtue of them winning the conference the last 2 years
1) Burrow
2) Cam
3) Herschel
4) Manziel
5) Henry
6) Daniels
rest however you want

(and zero playoff wins)

yeah because they get the bye from winning the conference, that isn't the gratuitous own comment you were hoping for
quote:

God only knows the offers that kid got behind closed doors.

The offers he received are basically public record per 247 and On3, what's the relevancy of that comment?

quote:

DeBoer will win a natty here. He and Keelon will be the face of college football.

DeBoer can't even run the football and gets drilled by Georgia 28-7 and Indiana 38-3, probably should've gotten blown out AGAIN by OU in the playoff game being down 17-0
quote:

Will Wade is the most overrated coach of any sport, in the history of the world.

If you ever listen to him talk about basketball, dude's a basketball savant, he learned under Tommy Amaker and Shaka Smart, he knows his shite
quote:

1. Alabama

Alabama fans turn their backs on their team or **reluctantly** support them when they stop winning or get drilled 38-3 in the playoff

quote:

2. LSU

LSU has true ride or die fans, need to be no. 1
quote:

We all poke fun, but DeBoer has put multiple QBs into the first round of the draft.

He knows how to develop QBs, even when he gets their heads pounded to the ground with his unphysical offensive lines
quote:

FBS coaches want 24 teams and an end to conference title games…

I mean Kalen DeBoer made the playoff, got drilled by Indiana 38-3 in the quarterfinals, and got a contract extension

Making the playoff is what defines success in this sport for head coaches

Back when the playoff started, it began devaluing NY6 bowls since only 4 teams got in, many a coach were fired or retired under that new landscape, most notably Les Miles - LSU was making bowl games and churning out NFL draft picks but they fired him because the litmus test of success as a big-time college head coach had changed

The point is the coaches want this for necessity when it comes to their job security
quote:

Brian Kelly does have a winning record against Lane after all

We're really factoring BK's record at ND against Kiffin USC into this equation?
quote:

NBA stars are underpaid

This might be the dumbest statement ever made by anyone

That said, if the revenue received by players and stars is not commensurate and proportionate to overall league revenue per the CBA compared to other sports and their respective CBAs, then they will definitely need to address that the next time the CBA expires

quote:

would like to have equity in NBA franchises

Hard no while still playing and in the era of free agency, conflict of interest and possibility for corruption

Daily trivia: there was another notable "Gerry" in the picture: former Ticer coach and temporal hero Gerry Dinardo was OL on their 1970 team.

Wasn't his older brother a captain on the 1970 ND team

his name is Larry Dinardo, hilarious
Yeah

It's fricking Will Wade, anyone who had doubts about him are just uneducated haters
quote:

Let’s just say LSU shits themselves next year?

It's a Kiffin/Weis offense and a Blake Baker defense, floor is 8-4, ceiling undefeated
