That doesn’t sound like much hype to live up to.

1. Georgia
2. LSU
3. Florida
4. Bama

Divisional champs will still come from this list but I don't see a Natty for any of them.

LOL - UF has its easiest SEC schedule on paper in years.

And how is my statement any different from UGA fans predicting 11-1 every year under Kirby?

Talk about irony.

They've predicted 11-1 as a "worst case scenario?" News to me.

Predicting 11-1 and saying 11-1 at worst are two very different things.

Could you really not see a scenario where UF loses 2 regular season games?

ETA: Also, UGA has now gone 11-1 three years in a row, so those people who weren’t saying what you are saying were also correct.

Which top SEC team is most likely to not live up to the hype in 2020?
LSU
Yes, they have a lot of talent, but they're replacing a lot of key players, and lost some key coaches. I expect growing pains in Baton Rouge this season.
Yes, I know LSU fans will lose their shite over this opinion, but 2020 LSU is going to look a lot different than 2019 LSU.

I respect your opinions. And even though we're losing some veteran players and coaches, the replacements may, after a while, start to contribute.
I like the addition of Scott Linehan to work with Steve Ensminger (while keeping Brady's playbook), and Bo Pelini as DC.
The biggest challenge will be rebuilding the O-line - though several of the new starters played a lot last year.
We have 3 stud RBs to replace Clyde, and several WRs to replace Jefferson - to complement Chase.
However, I think the biggest obstacle to us returning to the Playoffs is simply the schedule. Auburn, Florida and A&M on the road will be difficult.

Oh frick off with your high road bull crap and post etiquette shite.

If you really consider “Worst case”, then assuming every important player on the team gets carona or gets hurt, UF goes 2-10.

Go look up the preseason prediction threads started by UGA fans the last 3 years and see how many posters added a best case and worst case scenario prediction.

A1abana has a tendency to underachieve. The last two years they’ve started at the top and fallen hard.

Last year they started #2 and finished ranked #8 (behind Oklahoma ( ) and 3 SEC teams).

Pete Goldwing is back - so look for the Tahd to stink again.

Priceless — Become a devout Muslim with Sabah and thousands of Gumps converting to Islam to spend their days praying 5 times in the Concussion Rooms (Mosques) for CV-19 to cancel their beat downs!

LSU could actually improve in Year Two, esp at TE and on third downs, where they were 50% conversion last year. LSU coaches realistic expectation is 80% - 90% of last year’s production, even using the term reloading. When a coach like Orgeron tells you this years Defense has the most talent he’s ever seen in Baton Rouge, and you have Bo Pelini for a coach, you and the rest would do well to heed it! Ed O don’t talk BS! And Bo Pelini as a DC just whips @$$ and keeps whipping @$$. After 74-72, aTm & Jimbo are on Ed O’s short List for serious punishment! After Mond’s last showing vs LSU, if I were an Aggie fan, I’d be praying for a Mond season ending injury in GM 1.

Meh. Bama lost about as much as LSU including Tua who was statistically one of the best college QBs of all time.

That being said, I think the rankings are appropriate. I would have Bama, LSU, Georgia at 3-5. The order doesn't matter at this point.

As far as hype, I'd say Georgia. I don't think their offense this year will take as big of leap as many hope. Pair that with a good and hungry Florida who may challenge Georgia for the East.

UF gets LSU in Gainesville this year and drops Auburn for Ole Miss.

It’s tailor made for UF to go 11-1 at worst.

We haven't seen the new SEC schedules for this year to know if 11-1 is worst case. If they bump up next years schedules you'll add Bama

We went 11-1 with a bad offense last year. I think 11-1 with a slightly improved offense isn't asking that much.

Agree 100% and it is to be expected.

Which is even stranger that Bama lost equal talent to us and miraculously are acting like they have a full cabinet

UGAs offense. Don't see it being the explosive unit they expect it to be.
UF expectations are they'll be a playoff contender and beat UGA. Don't think either happen
TAM actually think the defense will be good but I don't trust Mond and the expectations are too high to begin with

Nah it’s fine, especially when i look at A&M and see a program that’s still soft a silk, especially up front on both lines, and doesn’t have the mental makeup to win at a high level, a mentality problem that starts with their fans and alumni and filters down to what you see on the field.

Gonna be impossible to replace that guy.
Sure. Brennan won't be Burrow. But he isn't a true freshman or anything. He knows the new system, and has elite weapons to work with at every level. He is going to be really good, and the LSU fans are going to be pleasantly surprised.
