Im not sure you guys know what endowments are. I can assure you, sports are not even on a scratch list of where that money will go. Damn sure not for player salaries.

Can't be real. Court wouldn't allow you in dressed like that

You'd be amazed. Depends on the jurisdiction. Some strict as hell, pants required, dress attire. Some, come as you are. In the end it comes down to how you choose to represent yourself to be judged.
So you're saying one of UGA, Bama or OM backs is headed to Texas? This board would crash if its Lacy.

Not true

Counting on the NCAA to resolve something in the next 20 or so days(end of the portal) is a brave hill to stand on. That little delay changed the odds dramatically in favor of "its not happening". And hes using a heavily influential OM lawyer to do it. Tealeaves folks.
Best I've ever seen is Reggie Bush. Not a fan then or now but the guy was must watch TV at USC. Amongst all those kids Carroll assembled there, he stood out. Fresno St will forever have a story to tell.
I got in on them before the pandemic, essentially when they first got "out". 1997-1998 time frame.
Was dabbling in heroin at the time(never an addict thankfully) as a young 19-20 year, along with every other drug known to man. One day this old dude i knew through flea market dealings(sports cards) was short on cash but said "I've got these pills". His wife's cancer pills he called them(she knew;too strong for her) Being the young, curious man I was at that time, "why not". What a dream, what a dream(if you know, you know) Clean, pill form heroin? Where can I get more. Fun couple of years, again never an addict. First kid starting baking in the oven so I moved away from that life. A few in my friend group weren't as fortunate. Little did we know at the time.

Those 80s were unreal. Chop them up and 3-4 people could get high. Legit high. Never a banger just a snorter
The tweet says it all. Blame the system.

As a novice to NBA draft rights, assuming an international pick, how long are the drafting teams rights to the player? Meaning can he be drafted again and when?

That's a crazy level of desperation

So is paying 2 mil for a RB, the least valuable position not named K/P, yet many here are ready to pony up. Thats only 500 grand less(on average) than an established QB and a near elite DE. Eye of the beholder, assuming any of those numbers are factual.
Has no bearing on my feelings about the father's actions, good job, but that reads like his boy really pissed off the wrong group of people. Would be interesting to know the backstory. 20-30 people with masks coming to get you on moving out day while you're being escorted by police and with your parents gives an indication he did something to somebody that is deemed unforgivable. Then again I am trying to apply logic to thug activities so they couldve just been random people.
I think his statement is a little misleading. Sure, a couple of guys, most likely Raiola, Lagway, maybe Sorsby(TexTech) and Leavitt, are asking for that amount. Raiola and Lagway due to their already inflated pricetag, Sorsby due to who is suitor is and Leavitt being the "top guy". Doubt any of them get that and the next 20 guys on the list will be asking for far less. Hes taking the extreme and leading with it as the group is commanding that. Context matters. He is a click bait savant, so no surprise he would resort to click bait tactics.
Listened on the radio.
Different viewpoints, strengths etc. Not every coach teaches the same things well. What's wrong with more eyes and brains developing your talent as long as they dont contradict one another?

Same goes for the wr coaches.Different skillsets between outside and inside wrs particularly in this age.

Isn't one technically the TE coach? I don't think we have one of those.

Believe thats Joe Cox.

That dog owner looks like he was trying to haul arse and not wait for the law to show up.

He had every opportunity and chose to wait by the pole on his own. No one was even attempting to stop him until he made the move to sit on the bench. He deserves credit for that. Also credit to the father for handling the situation well. Could've been a worldstar scene and he chose the right path. Concern for child over vengeance on the owner.
According to their insiders they did. Based on everything reported to be going on there behind the scenes and the political history of that program(big proponents of covid shutdowns) i tend to believe them. Balas(one insider) is adamant Dillingham and crew eere ready to go. No offer. Politics/interview blamed.
Ive actually been keeping up with this search pretty closely and they deserve that list. One for the arrogance they have believing the could just bully Bama of all teams for a HC, 2 for refusing to offer Dillingham because of "political" reasons. They were extremely confident Bama would lose to Oklahoma, Deboer would get run out town right into their arms. Bama won and all hell broke loose. Quite entertaining reading.
Indeed. Definitely gives off vibes of someone groomed and trained to be exactly what he was. It's pretty clear the guy was quite intellectual and bright, maybe short of genius. Someone(Israel is the betting favorite) took his natural gifts and put them on steroids. A movie script couldnt portray a more unbelievable rise to power. No way it was "natural". Dude was James Bond without the action. Seems there was no room he couldnt talk his way into or skill he couldnt become competent at. Intriguing guy really. Would be fascinating to read the truth about how he became the Jeffrey Epstein we know today.
None. Kids only policy. Not a fan of Christmas but I was a kid once so I participate that much.
Could be but its only a little over 250 grand per kid. Just as easily could be legit. How the company used that money and the particulars around it could be an issue.
In truth, any fan of a major program that wants their favorite teams books gone through, doesnt want them to be successful. They're all moving money around to players that cant be explained as "legitimate endorsement opportunities". In short, theyre all participating in direct pay for play under the guise of NIL not revenue pie. The sport would literally be dead if no teams are eligible to play. But we all know thats never going to happen. The grift is too great.
You're winning the debate. That said, analytics over eye test has/had an entire generation actually believing LeBron and Mike Trout are the best players their sports have ever seen. It's painfully obvious those folks never laid their eyes on Micheal Jordan and Barry Bonds. The eye test, while deceiving at times, isn't manipulated to fit an argument like stats are through analytics. Analytics take perspective out of the equation though its just as important. You can see things stats cant describe.

If the Lacy 2 mil # is true, pay Durham and Berry and find another guy. Likely could get all 3 done for that same 2 mil.

And scholarship which includes housing and meals.

Sounds like getting paid

Would you accept a job with no salary and only a per diem? That's about what the scholarship, housing and meals add up to based on the millions the university gets year to year. The education "compensation" myth is long dead. Housing and food are paid by taxpayers and no longer an accepted means of compensation in major college sports. At this point its a budgeted in expense labeled "the cost of doing business". Pennies to the university.
