re: Saints apparently have the 6th largest fan base - MetryTyger
There are 4.5 million people in Louisiana. If just one-tenth or 10% of those 4.5 million are Saints fans, that is 450,000 Saints fans. There are 3 million people in Mississippi. If just one-fifteenth of those 3 million are Saints fans, that is 200,000 Saints fans. There are 5 million people in Ala...

re: Looking a little deeper at the “O and Saban had the same record at LSU” argument. - MetryTyger
NewDay Looking a little deeper at the “O and Saban had the same record at LSU” argument. There is no comparing the two. Saban arrived to a program on a decade long slide and turned them into National Champions. O arrived to a team in decline but well stacked with talent. If you reversed t...

re: This game was a recruiting video for bringing OL to LSU - MetryTyger
BayouCowboy This game was a recruiting video for bringing OL to LSU It took until the 2nd half of the UK game to figure it out, but the run blocking has completely changed.
This should be the game plan vs Ole Miss. Run run run run run run run [pass] run run run run run r...

re: Why are so many fans okay with these restrictions and think its logical? - MetryTyger
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — As eligibility expands for the nation to receive COVID-19 vaccines, many questions are circulating about which vaccine to get, side-effects, and how long it stays in someone’s system once administered. Dr. Celeste Reese-Willis joins CBS 42 each Monday morning to answer v...

re: I am not particularly ecstatic about how this whole QB situation has played out - MetryTyger
Has Hill ever led the NFL in passing yards? Thrown for over 5,000 yards? Thrown for 30 TDs? What about the 30 INTs from Winston you say? Well he also threw way more PASSES than anyone else. And he is not going to throw a lot of INTs in this offense. He's just not. SEAN PAYTON....

re: Kevin White - MetryTyger
I hope they keep White, if anything for his speed -which can be used as a decoy and help Marquez, Thomas, Smith, Humphrey, and Harris to get open underneath. Not to mention his blocking skills...but when he DOES start catching it, Winston has the perfect arm for it......

re: This Defense is nasty - MetryTyger
I hope history doesn't repeat itself - where the Saints have a great year defensively and then drop off. I don't think so though. Every starter is proven except maybe CB. When Onyemata and Lattimore return, we'll be even better What I like is that it is an attacking defense, that could cause sacks...

MORE. PROS: Tailgating, TGBFTL and Golden Girls, Pre-Game, Death Valley, kickoff! CONS: Masks. Don't mind wearing one but might let it 'slip' below my nose :) And I've already been vaccinated and have the card. Traffic. But not really because we get there extremely early and listen to the ...

re: What is the greatest single play in LSU football history? - MetryTyger
A play that I love and NEVER get tired watching is Burrow to Clyde right before halftime at Bama in 2019. The look on the Bama fans and band members faces was PRICELESS. I needed to change my underwear the first time I saw that. In retrospect, it doesn't compare to Cannon's run in '59 though.......

re: Are you willing to admit that you have cried real tears during an LSU football game? - MetryTyger
November 1982 in Legion Field. Our fraternity took a road trip to tuscacrappa first and then to bumminhayum for the game. LSU had not beaten the Skoal Drool Things since 1969, and when the gun sounded and we had beat them 20-10, I did have a little bit 'onion' eye. We drowned those tears of joy at ...

re: Loudest Death Valley moments - MetryTyger
Alt26 Loudest Death Valley moments It gets forgotten because of the end result, but the loudest MOMENT I can remember is when LSU blocked the would be game winning FG vs Alabama in 2008. The whole stadium exploded at once. And Darry Beckwith picked it up but ran the wrong way, away from...
