There are a lot of interesting storylines, lots of new faces, and lots of optimism. But not everyone can win every game.

Which fanbase will be most disappointed and why?

Texas or LSU.

Bama close 3rd.

Texas is being blown by the media again and took the top WR in the portal. Texas fans think they are Bama.

LSU obviously has Lane and got a hell of a portal class. LSU fans are themselves per usual and expect instant success. They claim they wont but we all know they will.

Bama honorable mention because I think this season will tell us the truth about DeBoers future and we will either be excited or really upset. So its a tossup for us to be in the top 2.

Gumps. Same coaches, new o-line, new QB, new RBs and they’re trying to make everyone believe their run game will be better. Never works that way

Bama will end the season the most disappointed fanbase with the vast majority of them calling for Karen Deboer to be fired.

I'm more concerned with keeping Jacob Parker (Freshman RF) and our young pitching staff. We have some major holes to fill but I think we can do it. I don't expect much from football so I can't be disappointed but maybe pleasantly surprised.

Current expectations are that Arkansas beats North Alabama. Any other win would be icing on the cake. Even if we lose to North Alabama you cannot disappoint Hog fans this season. There is a certain freedom that comes with knowing you are trash in a sport.

Very likely Texas, although I would say if healthy and O Line can improve we are in the mix to win it all amongst ~8 other teams.

We are the pick just because 05 was so long ago.

2nd pick is likely OU just because of their early schedule.

Ole Miss has spent the last 6 months that Lane Kiffin had nothing to do with their recent success.

I have a strong feeling it’s going to be them.

Well, as for UGA,after winning a couple of natties everyone got deflated when we didn't win one the last few years, even though we've won the SEC a couple of times and most schools would LOVE to do that. It just goes to show the pressure that's heaped on a program once you've tasted great success.

We return alot of talent and have an easier schedule, but Oky looks like a dangerous game for us early and Bama will be looking for blood after that bullwhipping we put on them in the SECCG. Another 11 win season would be wonderful anywhere else, but if there's no natty attached to it, they'll be more eyebrows raised in Athens than ever about Kirby and where the program is headed.

Define instant success.

Do I think lane wins the national title year 1? Absolutely not with our schedule.

Lots of disappointment on the horizon

LSU, because like someone said, we tend to want instant gratification. I think Kiffin will bring LSU back to title contention (and win 1-2), but I doubt we see it happen next year.

Texas and UGA, if they don't win a title. And for UGA, that means winning more than just the SEC title.

A&M and Ole Miss, if things regress.

Alabama, if they don't see a big step back up.

Clearly the Gumps . Coach is out of his league, not respected and the worst case scenario players . Additionally it’s rumored the coach and his family feel they don’t fit there . He will be gone in a year . Who wants to root for a subway hick fan base .

They're going to say that we do regardless. It's how they frame the narrative.

Given as much shite they've talked in the offseason, I'm gonna say LSU.

Lots of Gator fans are predicting 8-4, even 9-3 this season may be disappointed if we finish 5-7 which is possible if our o line and qb play doesn’t shape up
