5-7 is being optimistic. Should be underdogs in every game after week 1 and I am expecting Campbell to dominate us in the Swamp.

I'll rephrase the question and say that Texas has the potential to be most disappointed just because of how last year went. If this year goes, the same way, I'm not sure Sark survives.
LSU would probably be next. Year 1 aside, the roster is constructed to win next year and a lot of money was spent on it. I've seen this go both ways under Lane.
Bama would be a good candidate but I really don't have a sense of their expectations. I don't see a ton of hype from Bama fans about their team.

If Texas fricks around this year everyone is losing their jobs.
Just from the Lindys Magazine it appeared they were among the top 5 in the country at every position.
If they have that kind of hay in the barn then someone is restless

Yeah you spend $50 million to go 9-3 then that should be an issue. Schedule losses on paper in June are a lot different than losses on a Saturday afternoon in October.
Better hope Leavitt is healthy and good or you could see a situation like Auburn where everyone was there but the QB.

The roster gets more expensive every time someone talks about it.
And the majority of the players on it have 2 or more years of eligibility remaining.

That's why they brought in 3 quarterbacks.

Texas is being blown by the media again and took the top WR in the portal. Texas fans think they are Bama.
Second season starting QB. 4 probable top 20 picks (Goosby, Manning, Simmons and Coleman). Impressive portal class.
Could this season be disappointing? Sure. But the media isn't "blowing" them for no good reason. Thats why Vegas has them tied with Georgia as the most projected wins at 9.5.
My pick for most disappointed is LSU. I imagine they'll miss the playoffs (Vegas has them at 8.5 wins).

Leavitt, Seaton, Umanmielen, etc. aren't sticking around for 2 years unless things go south for them.

Sure, but that's 3 guys out of the 41 they brought in.
And if those three guys have good enough years to ensure a high draft selection, then LSU will probably be a pretty good team.
I don't see a situation where they ball out and LSU is still bad.
ETA- I see a 9-3 LSU team as "good", I see a lot of other fanbases insisting that 9-3 would be a disappointing year for some reason. 8-4 wouldn't surprise me either.

Unfortunately, Arkansas is in our white flag phase of football, so we wake up disappointed and our days just gets shittier from there.

We could beat LSU and I would feel liberated for the year. If we lose, we'll need to make the playoff to make up for it
Glad to know we’re your Super Bowl. That’s some serious little brother shite.

I live on Atlanta and listen to a lot of the local sports talk.. they are all extremely bullish on UGA this season.
