So winning the West makes LSU the laughing stock over preseason #6, now 5-7 Aggy?
Makes sense.

He got absolutely destroyed

Do any of you actually understand football ? Best way to neutralize a pass rusher is to run right at them. Aggy did it because it was their best chance to have success. I have no clue why Arkansas and bama didn’t do the same especially bama after he popped off against ole miss. Uga definitely has the OL/TE and backs to do the same. Hopefully monken overthinks it. Aggies kept it simple and it worked out on a night where not much went our way.

His best attribute is rushing the passer. LSU couldn't stop Achane to put A&M in obvious passing downs. Not too hard to understand.

Are you fricking blind? He was attacking the ball carrier at an angle and both the blocker and carrier hit him. It took two players to knock him down, at an angle. Idiot

Perkins might be a mercenary who disappeared in the A&M game, but he was still a very good buy for LSU.

I think it mainly was the offense planning around his position, I know it's hard to believe a Fisher offense can successfully plan and execute something, but it does happen every now and again I suppose. Everybody talked about Will Anderson from Bama and he didnt have an amazing game vs us either, despite how horrific our line was.
Dude is obviously a good player, but growing as a freshman you'll have some inconsitency. He will learn from it and probably be a standout player most of his career.
But Achane throwing him to the ground was fun to watch and did bring a tear to my eye.

Jimbo showed he can still call a game especially situationally
Took advantage of field position, shortened the game, kept our defense on the field. A lot went right in the first half. We were poised to flip the script in the second half with two stops and a score to tie it before the fumble 6 happened.

But with all the yac yards, it looked like poor tackling effort contributed as well.
The team is completely gassed. Low on scholarship numbers and the stretch they went through was brutal while dealing with a flu outbreak in the building. Kelly even admitted before Saturday that the team lost energy going into Friday.

I believe Achane launched his bitch arse into next week with 2:36 to go in the 2nd quarter.
Doesn’t Achane weigh about 175 lbs?

Thank you!!! I feel like I am the only one that noticed this.
HP is unbelievable for a true freshman. I dont believe his is the best defender in the country or that he can stop every team by himself like some of our LSU brethren claim. I do think this is only the beginning of what could be a dominant player in the future and the fact that other teams have to scheme him out of disrupting the entire game says plenty about the respect he has garnered from Coaches who know a hell of a lot more than any of us keyboard coaches.

LSU fans really said he was the best defensive player in the SEC because he played well vs Bama and shut down a 3rd string QB

I think the 3rd string comment was in reference to Arkansas

I think CEH was about the same weight and carried half of the Bama defense for 12 yards in 2019. Add in the Achane was running full speed, was lower in pad level, and hit at an angle. Its really not that crazy. Its not like he ran over HP like Lenny ran over 8&4's safety as a true freshman. Now that was a bad look

Interesting. I hadn’t read that.

Harold Perkins “attacking”
I actually think that bum is still flying in the air. Achane gave him a free ticket to Atlanta.

Yeah. Listed at 185. Harold Perkins is listed at 220.

Aggies have an interesting obsession with Harold Perkins.
Is it because he burned their hat when they were desperately in need of help at linebacker?

Yep. Great decision by Perkins. He'll be a Freshman All-American, play in the SEC Championship Game and a bowl game, and is headed to a great career. So happy to have him at LSU.
