In your own video you can literally see him trip over #3 before even touching Achane but logic and facts have never been your strong suit so carry on…

False. As you’ll see in the gif below, #3 Devon Price doesn’t even touch Perkins until AFTER the contact with Achane. He may have been anticipating the contact, but Perkins had a free shot on Achane and got absolutely trucked.

Put on his arse like Texas 5&7 for 11 weeks including to Appalachian State.? You guys are a very unique yet very weak bunch of individuals and your desperation is incredible! Thank goodness you’re stuck in a cluster frick situation and remain the laughing stock of all of college football.
I know it’s been 12 years to finally win your SuperBowl but the fake meant nothing. That’s just too bad!
Hey where are you watching the SECCG since your 5-7 season is over??? LOL

That GIF clearly shows Perkins getting trucked by Achane. It is even more impressive from that shot.

If you’re going to be plainly stupid there’s no sense wasting time responding. Enjoy your shite record, postseason nothing and transfer portal exodus

trucked
You don’t know what it means.
Hint: a defender flying laterally in the air about 5 feet and falling off the runner isn’t getting trucked, it’s attempting a wild arse difficult tackle.
Getting trucked is when the defender is set head to head and just gets run over by the running back.

List our players in the portal and amount of snaps they played this year.

Everyone on here knows what it means. There are a handful of LSU fans twisting the definition to cope with the fact the player they hyped as the best defender in CFB getting run over by a RB 30 lb lighter than him.

and Ole Miss, State, and Auburn, so 5/8 of his SEC games he was a terror in the backfield. Seems pretty good to me, especially for a true freshman

Kiffin, one of the best offensive minds in CFB, said Perkins absolutely ruined their offense whenever he was on the field. I trust Lane's opinion over SECRant posters.

You can describe it however you want but he got his arse run over.

And yet Perkins managed just 2 tackles against A&M. Maybe Lane needs to call Jimbo for a coaching tutorial?

he got schemed out of plays. He had to follow the motion outside. When he stayed in the box, he got put on his arse.
Pretty much the scheme thing here. UT did the same thing. With Perkins on the field now we have pretty much been in Nickel packages and rush packages. LSU opted to put the nickel back on the field.
LSU, whatever package, was not ready for Achane. He reversed field on us routinely and caught us overpursuing badly.
Ummm. Running off tackle is not a "scheme" against a defender. It is as common a football play as you will ever find.
A football play for Perkins would be shedding his block and affecting the play (assisting in the tackle or shifting the play back inside to his help)
The crazy shite LSU fans say after a loss is hilarious.
And yes... LSU fans were saying that he was the best defensive player in the conference.
Fortunately for those fans, they will get an up close view of Jalen Carter.
And fortunately, those fans will get an up close view of a better linebacker in Jamon Dumas Johnson.

or maybe Perkins matches up better against some teams than he does others. A&M was running heavy sets and just running right at LSU all night. The LSU DL got no push all night, and A&M was very rarely in passing downs, which is probably why they ran 50 times to only 18 passes. Perkins is an OLB speed rusher. With the DL getting dominated, running inside, and A&M not throwing the ball, it doesn't leave a lot of lanes for Perkins to make a big impact for what his strengths are right now. He also got dinged up and was out for a pretty decent stretch during the game

Hence the problem with Perkins, he's really too small to be an every down linebacker (right now) but he's too good of an athlete to take off the field.

Sounds like a lot of excuses for the best player in the sec.

it's not excuses. Football is a team sport. If no one is doing their jobs, one defensive player isn't going to be able to do much, I don't care what team you're talking about. It's also as if people don't even know what position he plays
