Yeah but Herman at least has some track record of success. He won 13 games at UH and 10 games at Texas.

I am also not a fan of the other extreme like A&M where you lock down a coach after 1 good season and are stuck with him. However, it seems like there isn’t a happy medium in CFB contracts today. You either do the revolving door of nobodies or roll the dice on a big name and hope it pans out.

Why anyone would fire Tom Herman after a 7-3 season for this clown is beyond me. I said it then and I still believe it today. Herman gave them their best season since 2009 but fired him after a .700 season for 5-7...
