Contenders:
Alabama - Auburn, Tennessee, LSU.
Arkansas - Texas A&M, LSU.
Auburn - Alabama, Georgia.
Florida - Georgia, Florida State, LSU.
Georgia - Florida, Auburn, Georgia Tech.
Kentucky - Louisville, Tennessee.
LSU - Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, Texas A&M.
Mississippi State - Ole Miss
Ole Miss - Mississippi State, LSU.
South Carolina - Clemson, Georgia.
Tennessee - Alabama, Kentucky, Vanderbilt.
Texas A&M - Texas, LSU.
My vote goes to Auburn. There is so much history in the Iron Bowl and DSOR. Florida has some great rivalries too, especially when the 'Noles are good.
Non-SEC notables:
Florida State - Florida, Miami.
Iowa - Wisconsin, Iowa State, Minnesota.
Iowa State - Iowa, Kansas State.
Michigan - Ohio State, Michigan State, Notre Dame.
Minnesota - Wisconsin, Iowa.
Notre Dame - Southern Cal, Michigan.
Oklahoma - Texas, Oklahoma State.
Oregon - Washington, Oregon State.
Southern Cal - Notre Dame, UCLA.
Texas - Oklahoma, Texas A&M.

In the SEC I think it’s pretty clearly UGA and the Alabama schools

Still denied. Pretending LSU is Bama's rival doesn't make it true.

LSU - Everyone.
Fixed it.
Alabama isn’t a rival of ours. They are the biggest game, but technically not a rival

LSU is not a rival to Alabama.
They are on Mississippi State level to the Crimson Tide.

I’m not bustin’ your chops at all, OP.
But what is it about the SEC that makes so many teams think it’s some kind of an unwritten honor to be a team’s rival, yet an insult to be told by said team that they’re “not rivals?”
It was never a dynamic I saw in either the SWC or the B12.
Certain teams liked each other; others didn’t.
The “who is/isn’t our rival(s)” wasn’t a point of argument—It wasn’t some kind of benchmark as to either team’s worth.
I’ve always been curious about the importance SEC teams place on rivalries, that’s all.
The origin would be interesting.

It’s either Uf or Uga.
When their ACC rivals are good, they have the best. Also add that they are big rivals with Tennessee.

One would think it would be a single school. Kind of like can have only one true best friend, can have only one true rival.

Add Tennessee to that list. And it should be hate, not rival.

I would count Georgia/Tennessee as one.

Historically, you could also toss NC State and UNC in there with each being the other's #3-4 rivals.
Put together that's a solid 4, but of course, they haven't played regularly since we joined the SEC.

Auburn had the best rivalries at one time . Ever heard of Amen Corner..
Auburn played Florida, Georgia, and Alabama in a row. They also used to play Tennessee and Georgia Tech each year. Auburn wins ! Nuff Said.

We used to have the end of our schedule always be UT, UF, and Clemson in a row - sometimes with a D-1 subdivision team thrown in before the Clemson game.
It was known as Orange Crush. That was a particularly rough stretch in the '90s-early 2000s.

I would consider UK - State a rivalry these days. We have played every year since 1992.
State leads 25-24 (26-23 on the field as the CZAR, oops the NCAA made us forfeit 19 wins and two ties from 1975-77 because a football player got a clothing discount at a store that was available to ALL students). One of those was a 14-7 win over UK in 1976.
Seems a bit benign compared to what is happening to today.,
But in any case the series is very competitive and has seen some good games over the years.
