After watching that So WR just end his career with yet another knee blow out and having a starting RB with 2 knee blowouts, how big of a hurry do you think Daniels is play for UGA. And what is withUGA and destroying knees? I know your equipment guy caused some years ago but surely he was replaced by now.

What? Have you ever watched a college practice in Fall camp?
NOBODY is touching the QB...not a Bama,Auburn,LSU,UF or any other P5 school.Daniels participated in a full scrimmage last Saturday...there's little difference for a QB between cleared for practice and cleared for contact

I hear whine, whine, excuse, excuse. Must be the UT, moral victory way.
The Georgia mindset is toughness, Daniels will play and so will Dwan. A year is plenty of time to heal an ACL and Dwan would not still be here if they thought he couldn't play. Zeus tore both acls and played a year later, Chubb came back, gurley came back, marshall came back. A year is plenty of tims. Hell Hines Ward played his entire career without an ACL in one knee.

Isn't it likely he would have been suspended due to off the field drama, just prior to the season starting?
I mean it is Georgia.
I mean it is Georgia.

Did you read what I said??
I just said there is a difference between NOT having contact with the QB because you aren't going to risk injury and not hitting the QB, example Mathis and Daniels, because you are not allowed due to them being injured.
I sorry that your red and black glasses prevent you from seeing the difference of a basic concept, why don't you ask a 3rd grader to explain it to you!

Jadon Haselwood calling Kirby fake.
Well that link title is wrong. Did you read the article? It explicitly says that Chaney (UT OC) was fake for recruiting to Georgia while he was being pursued by the Vols.

Pappoe's coach talking about how Georgia pulled a "commitable" scholarship offer when Kevin Harris went to commit.
Pappoe in the article says that UGA didnt do anything wrong.

Justin Fields also complained along with his father on how he handled the situation.
There are no complaints in the article.
I know you have your biases. Understood. But why do you spew crap on a message board? Is this a troll? Is this some endorphine rush?
For anyone reading your receipts, you come off as an imbecile which I dont believe you are.

You said HUGE difference and now there's only a "difference?" So its not a huge difference?

Nobody is hitting the QB regardless of the reasons.
Mathis has been cleared for contact since May BTW

explain it to you!
You don't get it.
No QB is being touched right now. If he is, then the coaches are idiots and should be fired immediately.
Without spring practice, offenses are trying everything that they can to keep everyone healthy for installs and reps.
Even the slightest ding on a QB is detrimental if the QB misses 1 or more practices.
There are no cupcake games this season. Every game is a conference game and determines who goes to Atlanta.
Not lifting the "cleared for contact" on QBs is part of the coaching gamesmanship that happens every offseason. Sam Pittman said that he would declare a starting QB as soon as Kirby does. This is what coaches do.

Georgia fans absolutely dogged Fromm and honestly he would be the best option right now. What was Kirby’s game plan here? I think Kirby is a pretty good coach but roster management is not his thing. You guys can deflect about Fields all you want but Kirby lost his damn mind with that one.

Buncha Gumps up in a thread about UGA's HC.

His game plan was to find multiple experienced QBs to bring in after Fromm left, and thank goodness he did.
How many teams could lose likely QB1 two weeks before the season and still have a guy that has started for a major program on the roster? In what world is that bad roster management?

Don't bother trying to have a discussion with her. She's got some obvious bias towards UGA and was the one making jokes trying to blame Cochran in the Blaylock injury thread.

Neyland stadium and it's shitty turf had a lot to do with many players knee problems over the years. You are one to talk.

Kirby should have known that Newman was not a SEC quarterback! Wasted a spot for him! Many SEC fans were questioning of getting Newman to UGA and saying he is not a SEC quarterback or a top quarterback. That is on Kirby Smart!

he has so little to gain from a very shaky offense with a limited off-season. You guys have no idea how it'll look like, and he was likely told a good story (a few recruits have complained about Kirby regarding this) and it was likely different when he got there.
Doubtful. Newman knew everything about our roster and coaching staff when he decided to come. The only changes were Blaylock out again and JT Daniels challenging him.
Haselwood basically called Chaney fake, and we got the better 5 star WR anyways, so that worked out well for us.
That isnt Pappoe's coach, but rather a jealous handler father of his teammate who didnt get the UGA offer. We got the better 5 star LB anyways, so that also worked out well for us.

Having JT Daniels around is an example of very good roster mgmt.

Agreed.
There are about 26 positions on the team. The only area with rough roster management with scholarships is WR 2019 and TE 2019. That's a pretty good success ratio with roster management for Kirby.
After 2018, we lost 3 WRs early to the draft and another kicked out or school. Kirby did as well as anyone could with our 2 best WR recruits in a decade for 2019 and a great grad transfer in Cager. But there was no depth at the position and the freshmen took a while to come around.
After 2018, we had a junior leave early for the draft at TE. We didnt recruit a TE for the 2017 class. Our best TE in the 2018 class transferred out to go home to be with a sick family member.
So in 2019, kirby had to bring in a grad transfer. The team was full of developmental underclassmen. Kirby did take the #2 TE in the country for 2020. And we have another grad transfer this season.Hopefully, we have fixed the depth at the position going forward with recruiting.
The point is that Kirby is doing an excellent job with the full roster. Maybe I'm biased after so many years of Richt. But outside of complaining about not taking any TE in 2017, there arent many mistakes from the head coach.
