I hope that it fails on a monster scale and all these young people who are supporting socialism will see just what happens.
I have a lady who works here and she has family still in Venezuela and we were talking about this election. She told me that her parents are still there and that they live in highly populated city and don't have running water, electricilty, or gas.
Just a few steps away from when they were a socialist country.

All types of governmental paperwork has retention rates.
In education we are required to store student records, staff records, financial records for a specific period of time before we can destroy them.

I have been deep sea fishing numerous times, never did we go flying across the waves. I don't a person could catch anything going that speed.
And where are the outriggers? I would say something is a little weird.

Nope
The word Catholic is a mistranslation of “catalpa” a worm native to the Levant and used as fish bait
Because so many early Catholics had been fishermen that became fishers of men they named themselves after the bait they were so familiar with
Nope you are wrong. Just like someone said, it is a Greek word being universal. The first time it was used was St. Ignatius of Antioch in 107 AD.
When he refered to the Catholic church as better a universal community of believers.
After the death of Christ, believers were call disciples, meaning the students of Jesus.
I find it so interesting when non Catholics try to engage in these type discussions with Catholics.

I saw his "very touching" comment, and sadly, it didn't surprise me at all.
These people are wacked and at this point, nothing they can do will surprise me!

Same. I was driving home from work at about 4:00 when I heard the news that he had been shot. Our conservative radio station was talking about him be taken to hospital and I thought he would be fine.
I got home and saw the post on Tweeter and was absolutely shocked and I knew he wasn't going to survive. I cried for him and his family, so sad last night.
This morning,I am so angry! I can't wrap my head around someone killing anyone much less a shot to the neck. It is going to be a rough day today. I can't get this out of my head and my heart acks for his family.

Please don't speak for all of us!
Yes we are a loyal fanbase and hate to lose, but no one is jealous of us now and we are not winning a Natty this year.
I know you saw how awful this team played on Saturday, this is not going to fixed right away, we will have another 4 loss season, maybe more.

Just imagine how Saban would have reacted to Hubbard when he came off the field after he jogged in a play where FSU got a TD??!!
It amazing how fast Deboer turned our program into this crap.

Posted by BamaMamaof2 on 5/30/25 at 9:48 am to HubbaBubba
What she did to her husband is dispicable!
I remember Nancy Regan protecting Ronnie and taking him out of the sight of the media when he began his decline because he she loved him. There is no way I would ever expose my husband to that treatment.
I completely understand and support charging her with the cover up, but the bigger deal to me is sacrificing your husband for power. I hope she burns in hell.

Not to sound like an a-hole but when I was that age I didn’t give a flying frick about history or politics.
Not giving a shite about history or poltics is one thing. Not having basic knowledge of the world you live in is a whole different thing!
How does an alert human not know what Memorial Day is, don't you see all the flags, all the commercials on TV, social media and radio, it is just incomprehensible.
I saw something similar where they didn't know who fought in the Civil War, who bombed Pearl Harbor, or who we were fighting in WWII. I mean really, how does someone who has at least an ounce of awareness not know these things??

Dress Code! Everywhere I have worked in my many years of employment have had a dress code.
From resturants, to offices, to the school system, this is not something that we all haven't experienced.

re: Am I supposed to like Jake Tapper now?
Posted by BamaMamaof2 on 5/14/25 at 8:19 am to FLTech
Tapper is not sorry for what he did in the cover up.
He is like the thief that isn't sorry for the crime committed, only sorry he got caught.
This book will sell millions about a subject we all knew was true. He is working on his next book, Water is Wet.

Disappointing. He’s liberal on the major issues, and has a history of covering up sexual abuse cases. He’s a Francis guy through and through. Surprised everyone is upvoting it, he’s a poor choice that will continue the disgraceful internal culture in the central Catholic Church
I feel the same way as you. As a devout Catholic this selection makes me sad and mad. I really thought the Church would elect someone to focus on our Faith and not be into the politics of the world.
Then I read that he was instrumental is the cover up of pedo sexual activity. I would have hoped that the Cardinals would have avoided someone who played a role in that dark time. That cover up is as horrible a time in our Church as the selling of indulgences
