I remember Nancy Regan protecting Ronnie and taking him out of the sight of the media when he began his decline because he she loved him. There is no way I would ever expose my husband to that treatment.
I completely understand and support charging her with the cover up, but the bigger deal to me is sacrificing your husband for power. I hope she burns in hell.

How does an alert human not know what Memorial Day is, don't you see all the flags, all the commercials on TV, social media and radio, it is just incomprehensible.
I saw something similar where they didn't know who fought in the Civil War, who bombed Pearl Harbor, or who we were fighting in WWII. I mean really, how does someone who has at least an ounce of awareness not know these things??

Dress Code! Everywhere I have worked in my many years of employment have had a dress code.
From resturants, to offices, to the school system, this is not something that we all haven't experienced.

I feel the same way as you. As a devout Catholic this selection makes me sad and mad. I really thought the Church would elect someone to focus on our Faith and not be into the politics of the world.
Then I read that he was instrumental is the cover up of pedo sexual activity. I would have hoped that the Cardinals would have avoided someone who played a role in that dark time. That cover up is as horrible a time in our Church as the selling of indulgences

One thing that I find interesting is when there are documentaries shot of American prisons, the prisoners are all yelling, screaming, and hanging on the bars. Didn't see one of those guys behaving like that.

My Dad retired as a Major in Marines, he passed away in 2000. He loved the corp and everything it stood for, I wish he were here today to see this.
BTW, the dress blue uniforms of the Marines is the best uniform in the military. I can remember my Dad wearing his and even as a young girl just staring at how cool it was.

I have to admit, I love a nice bag, Coach, Kate Spade, or Frye. But I would never pay more that $500.00 for one, much less 1000's of dollars!
I know some of you men might think $300-$400 for a bag is crazy, but I get one every few years and last for years and years. I spent many years trying to explain this to my husband, I'm not sure if he got it or he just got tired of me trying to expalin it to him! :lol:

Women are emotional creatures because way back when, God created us to be emotional. We were the care givers, the nurturers, and the place where people went to feel safe. As we mature, we are supposed to learn what people need to be nurtured and what people need a shift kick in butt. Unfortunately, many women have not learned that skill.
And you are right, my husband thinks I am crazy sometimes, and sometimes I can be a little crazy. That can make a marriage entertaining!
