We have begun taking our Motorcoach to away SEC games for the weekends, since hotels seem to be almost impossible anymore to reserve.
I would like to know your assessment of your school's RV Lot. Is it good or not worth the trip. I'll start with my experience. Be nice.
Mizzou: Excellent
Pros: Close to Stadium - Party Atmosphere all weekend
Cons: No utilities
Ole Miss: Excellent
Pros - Very Friendly - Lax Rules on Entry Time
Cons: Quite a walk to the stadium - No utilities
Tenn: Fair
Pros: Party Atmosphere - Moonshine
Con: Fans kind of friendly -hit or miss - No utilities - Long walk
A&M: I scored a donor pass so was able to get full hookups.
Pros: Very Friendly - Spacious
Cons: Must drive to stadium - no utilities in visitors lot
Oklahoma: My target for this year - Sooners what say you? First timer this year.
Pros: available
Cons: No utilities - long walk
Rest of the SEC - no idea?

LSU's is meh. It's close to the stadium, but it's just a parking lot with no hookups.

I think ours is by the baseball or soccer stadium. Not sure. There are several but I think that is the one they call RV City.

I don't do this but I have friends that do. They keep their RV parked at an off-site RV park the whole season in College Station. It has bathrooms, showers, pool, etc. They use the A&M shuttle bus to travel to the stadium. Most of the RV parks within 5 miles of campus have shuttle bus service on game days

RVing has just never been that big a deal at OU. At least compared to other places.
The RV lot is at the Lloyd Noble Center which is a mile to a mile and a half from the stadium depending on where you set up. NE part of the lot is closest.
The walk to the stadium isn't bad but it is basically a walk through athletic facilities, student apartments and dorms. You never see the nice part of campus.
The bar district is on the other side of campus...Kind of like Mizzou is. Tailgating is mostly adjacent to the stadium. Again, not terribly impressive at OU.
OU does not allow tailgating in the pretty part of campus like they do at Ole Miss or a place like that.
Prepare to be underwhelmed if RVing and tailgating are your measures for a good game day atmosphere. The big party is on campus corner. on the other side of campus.

Pretty sure State's RV lot is out at the horse park. Fairly certain they have hookups due to typical use of the facility, never camped out there though.
I do know there is a shuttle to and from, so no walk.

Actually, They might be relocating rvs parking at lsu . They are supposed to be building dorms in the parking lot currently used for Rv parking

They should have a free bus service running people to the stadium and back.

LSU used to be top notch until they built dorms and philanthropy buildings on the old rv lots close to the stadium

Definitely…. great tailgate scene, just not a good RV experience nowadays. Not a good RV scene in Starkville and Nashville either.
Mizzou, Auburn, Ole Miss … great RV scenes.
Georgia- we leave the RV at Victoria Bryant SP and make the short drive over to Hell for the game. Same thing next time we go to Fayetteville too, … well likely leave the RV in nearby Branson, MO.

The only thing negative about Auburn's RV area is that it's on the opposite side of campus from the Toomers area.

Kentucky's RV lot is right there at the stadium.

State Fair handles RV parking for Gamecock football - so it's a PiTA mostly - OU game this fall does not have RV parking due to the Fair -
https://www.scstatefair.org/football-parking/single-game-rv-parking/
Fairgrounds has single game spots - which is where visiting fans will have to park - no hookups but water fill station on fridays and dump station available on sundays - but it appears 2025 single game spots are unavailable due to Season passes sold out -
Season pass lot is across Assembly/GRB past the tracks -
what it's supposed to look like -
what it actually looks like
main lot is fun - lots of good folks - the Fairgrounds parking can be hit or miss as it's first come basis outside of Gamecock Club & Season passes -

We have done the state game rv park once a year/.
Pros- inexpensive, shuttles all day to and from the game, power and water hookups
Cons - on the empty side of campus, no sewer, rock/gravel lots
ETA- the visiting fans have always been cool and we have had a good time with. Might help we have been garbage lately. Also there are about 200 spots

Walk is about 1.2 miles. Shuttle bus ride is popular at $5 round trip.

Yeah, the full hook up lots are all booked years in advance and the waiting list is long.

Yeah I got lucky and scored a donor pass on the school's website! I learned the donors can sell their passes through the school if they aren't using them. Sounds like I was very lucky and it was hotter than hll so my air conditioners appreciated the hookups! We had a great time with the Aggie fans.
I heard the non donor/visitor lot is gravel and pretty barren?
