So I watched the show and am in the industry. Not sure what the hold up on this is. Fire claims take a while to get moving and pay more so than a wind claim. It’s a builders risk policy that was on that so probably a valuation dispute

Seems so mad to be outraged at either. I didn’t care for Obama and never knew a rap concert was hosted there. I am a big UfC fan and looking forward to it. If they had a horse race there I wouldn’t be angry about it

The crux here is if you don’t have any accidents you will now lose your accident or climbs free discount. That cost more than the accident surcharge. If you have more than 1 vehicle it’ll cost you in the long run.

I get the whole that is what insurance is for argument but if it costs you a good deal more over 3-5 years then pragmatic people will understand.

The flip side to that is companies shouldn’t give discounts for being claims free or accident free cause that is what truly drives up the price after thr first accident. Your second accident is way cheaper
