Has the most lax coaching staff for following covid protocols since according to Orgeron most already had it in September then enough now to opt out of the Alabama game

Facts for anyone that cares

Davis, Parrish and Parker were suspended immediately. 2/3 later were kicked off or left the team

Godchaux was suspended until his charges were dropped.

Provens was arrested and left the team.

Phillips had his charges dropped in 2017.

The article is truly as shitty of one as I have ever seen from a "gathering the facts" angle

They gave these in the article but with more detail than you provided, so not sure why you are complaining

quote:

LSU has acknowledged formally disciplining two of the nine athletes: Davis and Peter Parrish, a quarterback accused of raping a woman in a car outside a bar earlier this year. LSU suspended Parrish for one year. The university expelled Davis, but not until July 2019 – four months after his criminal conviction, and 10 months after he’d already left the school.

quote:

The school would not confirm or deny if it disciplined two other players accused of dating violence – defensive linemen Davon Godchaux and Ray Parker – citing privacy interests. Both were arrested. Godchaux was not charged in court; Parker’s case is pending, the DA's office said.

quote:

Guice’s attorney has said he was never disciplined, and LSU attorney Johanna Posada confirmed in response to a public records request that four other athletes were not disciplined, either. They include running back Tae Provens, linebacker Jacob Phillips, tight end Zach Sheffer, all accused of rape; and safety Grant Delpit, who was accused of recording a woman during sex without her knowledge and sharing the video with others. Provens was arrested; his case remains open, the district attorney's office said. The others have not been criminally charged.

Article is just an extension from whatever came out a month or two ago. just providing more background details, no new info really. Still not a good look for LSU, especially with the two NCAA things going on as well.

These are just reports from women who have come forward. Orgeron is a supporter of rape culture.

Have you ever attended a Title IX hearing? They are ridiculous. There is a reason the courts are getting involved in over turning the outcomes of Title IX witch hunts. Many schools are going to be paying males to drop lawsuits for damages based on Title IX bullshite “findings.”

You liberals should try actual reading instead of just running your mouths.

So now we know why Guice dropped to the second round. He should have never been drafted at all.

No. Apparently neither has anyone at LSU.

News flash here. This isn't just an LSU problem. This is a problem across the board in college and NFL. It's just sad that LSU will field the brunt of this. Any of you that truly think this is just an LSU problem, well not much I can say.

So carry on with the LSU bashing again and keep acting like this isn't happening at your school as well.

The “well everybody’s doing it” approach seems like the wrong angle to take here

Maybe that’s just me though

DAMN LSU's attorney stated there was no punishment?
Were the damn coaches and Administration brain dead?

If you arent trolling, here is what the article left out, I guess the journalist just "missed it"

Davis, Parrish and Parker were suspended immediately, and then later removed

Godchaux was suspended until his charges were dropped.

Provens was arrested and left the team.

Phillips had his charges dropped in 2017.

Comments?

No one gives a shite about those players, and if you could find a couple of brain cells to rub together, you would grasp this. LSU let the prized star Guice skate. That's the story. LSU was never gonna cut Guice loose, and everyone knows it.

There's no evidence that anyone from the football program ever knew anything about the Guice allegations.

Guice also wasn't a "prized star" at the time of these allegations, he was Fournette's backup.

So LSU:

Cheats at basketball
Cheats at football by stealing from sick children
Quits football when it’s not going their way
Covers up sexual abuse

Sounds about right

Yikes, imagine being a “Proud LSU fan”

Time to nuke this AD I’m afraid.

I don't see how you can defend this. This looks bad on LSU.

You do know that it isn't necessarily up to the football staff, right?

No one gives a shite what Orgeron knew or didn't know. Your athletic department looked the other way so that they wouldn't have to cut Guice loose. The decision to keep Guice around was made by your athletic department.

No one gives a shite whether or not your football program knew.

It's irrelevant.

Again, you guys need to try to find a couple of fricking brain cells to rub together.

And Najee Harris was once Josh Jacobs' backup. Guice was still the star to be, waiting on his turn.

Actually just the Title IX officials and the tennis coach.

If you read into the allegations, one of the girls wouldn't even report the incident and has no memory of it.

Actually, again, go back and read the first four paragraphs.

I read "athletic department"

But then again, that requires having a few brain cells.

Didn't say that it was new information. That has no influence on the perception of those allegations.
