Im in favor of firing everyone involved and starting over.

A lot of the people involved are gone anyways.

The ones in charge at least on the football side aren't even here any longer. The players that are named were dealt with. This is still truly sad, but then again like I said up above, this is a serious issue in all of football. Majority of these players are animals!

Does LSU ever get tired of defending their entire athletic program again and again. At some point you have realize if it barks like a dog, walks like a dog, and looks like a dog...it’s probably a dog.

According to the report:
"April of 2017, the LSU athletic department
received reports of a 2nd rape allegation against
Guice---yet July, 2017, Orgeron, knowing this, is still gushing over Guice at SEC Media Days :
"He's a great young man. You're going to love him.
He has great character and has turned out to
be an outstanding team leader for us."

Not a good look

I mean, no one really knows what all this means, but when media outlets are writing long-form articles and suing the school, it's certainly not trending great.

LSU needs to come out, take charge, and demonstrate some transparency here, because their lack of cooperation seems to be driving the story right now.

So let me ask you because I'm sure it's very easy looking on the other side of the fence here. Would you just walk away from Alabama and have you in the past with all the different allegation against them over the years? Yeah, I highly doubt it.

9 accused players
5 either left the team immediately or were suspended indefinitely within days of their arrest
2 had charges dropped

That’s 7/9 where idk how you complain about LSU’s actions.

When you say that about paying players, then yeah, I agree. Everyone does it. But I'm pretty sure the "but others are doing it too!" excuse is not gonna fly when we are talking about covering up sexual assault accusations.

I think it is mainly about orgeron because the guice situation happened during les miles tenure but orgeron apparently gets the blame for that one

The only allegation in my opinion that actaully means something is delpit because there is no past info the rest of these people named were dropped or suspended until investigation is over and they made a decision depending on what the result of the investigation

Guice and Davis included, at least nine LSU football players have been reported to police for sexual misconduct and dating violence since coach Ed Orgeron took over the team four years ago, records show. But the details of how LSU handled complaints against the other seven, including two who played key roles on its 2020 national championship team, remain largely secret.

According to the article, that's the exact reaction that LSU leadership has as well.

Holy shite

I call complete bullshite. You truly think this is only and only happening at LSU? Give me a break! So tell me this, why has the NFL cracked down so much so on sexual assault and violence against women? You think these football players just starting doing this once they get to the NFL?

Wake the frick up people!!!!

News flash here. This isn't just an LSU problem. This is a problem across the board in college and NFL. It's just sad that LSU will field the brunt of this. Any of you that truly think this is just an LSU problem, well not much I can say.

No one thinks it’s only an LSU issue. LSU got caught, the article is about LSU, deal with it.

I mean, the entire post. It's an article about LSU and their handling of serious allegations. And the gist of the post I quoted is "Well, it happens everywhere".

At the end of the day, im just waiting on facts.

LSU has received no punishment at all for this right now because everything is an allegation.

Until an actual consequence is shown along with proof, all that can really be done is message board trolling.

If you arent trolling, here is what the article left out, I guess the journalist just "missed it"

Davis, Parrish and Parker were suspended immediately, and then later removed

Godchaux was suspended until his charges were dropped.

Provens was arrested and left the team.

Phillips had his charges dropped in 2017.
