With that said… I wish MSU could trade schedules with you next season.

You lose at UT, at AU, in Jax to UF, and maybe at Home to KY. Toss up vs OM.

Hey, if Georgia fans think 2022 Georgia would win a shootout with 2019 LSU that's their opinion I guess.

Same to you. Both teams had elite offenses. One team clearly had a better defense.

So if lsu had not lost to 5-7 A&M that would have made UGA better? So you guys lost on purpose to keep 2019 alive?

Such a scientific analysis! Broken down with such undeniable points! “Huhhh. Huhhh cause your MSU! Huhhh huhhh!!”

MSU beats FL wherever next year, beats KY at home, toss up with AU and OM.

Wanna just mouth out losses? You would lose to Alabama. Especially after playing what’s probably going to be two ranked SEC teams ahead of them.

However… we would get the auto wins of Vandy and Missouri. And an even easier OOC schedule.

Of LSU’s 7 games, five of them were close well into the 4th quarter. LSU didn’t really have the chance to call off the aforementioned dogs

While UGA had close games to Kent State and Mizzou and Ohio State

LSU beat all 4 of the preseason top 4 and 3 of them were the final games of the season by more than 20 pts each.

The accolades that team achieved hasn’t been seen since and in the NFL they are still controlling headlines.

For comparison, LSU 2019 had wins over:

#2 Clemson
#4 Georgia
#6 Florida
#7 Oklahoma
#8 Alabama
#14 Auburn
#25 Texas

And those teams were actually good lol

The game wasn't close. It is laughable what gets repeated on the boards without any insight.

That is funny. Keep repeating it.
I'm glad it makes your dick hard to look at preseason rankings with glee.
It cracks me up.

Highest scoring margin against final AP Top 25 in CFB history (minimum 5 games)

2022 Georgia: +29.4
2001 Miami: +29.1
2020 Bama: +19.2
2019 LSU: +15.4
2018 Clemson: +15.3

I don't argue greatest ever and think it is a stupid argument. However, this is an interesting tidbit. Remove the team names and it is still interesting:
2022 +29.4
2020 +19.2
2019 +15.4
2018 +15.3[/quote]

Seems as though even the top 25 continues to get more top heavy as time goes on. No way did 4 of the best 5 teams ever come in the last 5 years. Good thing the NCAA keeps making changes in the name of parity.

Obvioulsy 2001 Miami was an outlier, and maybe that makes them the best ever, but not the point of the psot.

So UGA, Bama and Clemson weren’t top 4 in 2019?

Ou you have a case but that’s the same scenario as TCU this year.

Preseason it maybe but other than BAMA losing the Iron Bowel it didn’t change much outside of LSU entering the picture in place of UGA

False. TCU had a good loss Monday. Moved up a spot.

Do I get to reverse this for every thread started by an LSU Tiger comparing the two?
Georgia is the standard when LSU fans desperately try to compare the two teams?

You need to stop. Lol be happy for what Georgia achieved. Georgia had another great year but they are not 2019 LSU bro. It’s humbling though, so thank you.

the most impressive part about 2019 lsu might be that they did it with orgeron as their coach

No, you didn't. Your defense was awful; only your O kept you from losing.

1971, Nebraska, 1972 USC, 1995 Nebraska and 2004 USC would smoke 2019 LSU. So would 2022 UGA.

Not sure if Dindy was listing those as the "top 5 of all-time" or if he was just picking among a few recent teams + Miami. If he was listing them as the top 5, it isn't correct.

Here is the top 5 list under his 5 game qualifier

1945 Army +39.7
2022 UGA +29.4
2001 Miami +29.2
1973 Oklahoma +24.4
2016 Alabama +23.4

If we stuck with Didlee's 5-game qualifier and did final top 10 teams, this is what we get:

2019 LSU +19.6
1943 Notre Dame +13.0
2017 Auburn -0.2
2016 Ohio State -0.6
1965 UCLA -1.4

The more this repeats, the more it becomes apparent that UGA is an equal standard and LSU fans are a moth to that flame.

Huh.

Huh.
