Only 3 final top 10s though. Nice but not historic.

Uga would get smoked by all those teams. That’s why your britches are silver and not gold

For comparison, LSU 2019 had wins over:
#2 Clemson
#4 Georgia
#6 Florida
#7 Oklahoma
#8 Alabama
#14 Auburn
#25 Texas

Well there you have it… it’s settled.

In hindsight, that might be the "good loss" thing I've heard about for years.

2019 LSU played 7 teams in the Top 10. Only two of those games were at home. They had the greatest season of all time, and it wasn't close.
Georgia had the most dominant title game performance of all time, for sure.

2019 LSU faced 7 AP Top 25 teams with an average rank of 8.7 and beat them by an average of 15.4
2022 Georgia faced 7 AP Top 25 teams with an average rank of 12.3 and beat then by an average of 29.4
Seems pretty comparable

This is the part where LSU fans pretend 5-loss Texas is a Top 10 team

Point differential is just one of many factors when comparing teams. Just because a team waits longer to call off the dogs In games means very little. It isn’t that simple.

Of LSU’s 7 games, five of them were close well into the 4th quarter. LSU didn’t really have the chance to call off the aforementioned dogs
