He is as close in age to 30-year-old Patrick Mahomes (10 year NFL vet), as he is to 18-year-old Faizon Brandon (Tenn Starting QB).

well for one, it is so hypocritical to make such a huge fuss about the players who had no idea they had eligibility and then decided to come back before playing any actual NFL games but completely ignore/forget about Chambliss who had a local judge give him a 6th year of eligibility for being "sick".

That’s #JustDifferent though. It’s okay for Chambliss, but it’s not okay to get guys younger than Chambliss to play at LSU because Lane Kiffin.

Fine young man doing it the right way

Who cares?
There have been hundreds if not thousands of 19 year old freshman with summer birthdays who were 24 years old as redshirt seniors.

Stetson Bennett IV started for the Dawgs two years after he started collecting SS.

That’s great Happy Birthday Trinidad!

I think former LSU and Aggie QB Max Johnson might be a senior citizen and he still plays college football.

Don’t know what you’re confused by. There are 5th year redshirt seniors who are 24 years old. There has been for a while

Getting the 6th year is simply showing proper respect to Jayden. I hope LSU goes 12-0 and Ole Miss goes 11-1. I’m sure the feeling is mutual.

I mean, the poor guy was on his death bed with a crippling disease that caused him to miss the season. How can you not feel sorry for him?

LSU fans want this to be an age based thing, when in reality it's a signed a professional contract thing.

How old was Trinidad the last time Ole Miss won the SEC?

yeah ole miss changed the rules to get a heisman candidate an extra year he shouldn't have. and i'm supposed to care that lsu (and other schools mind you) are doing the same thing with guys who didn't make an NFL team and will have 2% the impact Chambliss will have on games?
Yeah sorry, not happening.

it's an ineligible thing, and neither scenario would have ever been allowed 10 years ago. so while i agree the system is completely broken, lets not pretend lsu has done half of what ole miss did. they cheated to get one of the best players in football back.

It's a rules thing. Trying to play college football after signing pro contract or exhausting your eligibility are both against the NCAA rules. You want selective enforcement of those rules making you very very wrong.
