Lol, always resorting to name calling.

No. The Trump cases were entirely contrived.

in other words, if anything is done to Trump, it must be fake. Anything done to everyone else is real and warranted.
isn't that he exact same as most on this board defending Trump as "lawfare" but going after these judges is fine?

I'm good with nobody is above the law and if laws are broken go after anyone.
how did that not count as a mound visit? Are coaches allowed to walk all the way to the pitcher to stall as many times as they want as long as they don't talk to the pitcher?

Only if you believe a recession or depression is the goal and needed.

If interest rates stay elevated for an extended period, both consumer and business spending are likely to slow, which can dampen overall economic activity. Higher interest rates increase the cost of borrowing, reduce disposable income and therefore limit the growth in consumer spending. Government debt interest payments increase.

This is exactly why tons of tariffs right now is a dumb idea with rates already a bit higher.

That's the dumbest take I have seen. The EU has tariffs on the US and HAS! WAY before Trump.

Yes, and as anyone will tell you, tariffs will cause inflation. It would not be inflation year after year, but it does cause prices to go up(which is the definition of inflation). Once they are raised, they likely stabilize and inflation then goes back to normal, but it would be expected that if tariffs stay, inflation would go up for a year or two before stabilizing again. To compound that with low interest rates could cause major issues and the FED is very cautious to make changes while there is so much uncertainty.
if Trump wasn't putting tariffs on every country, rates would have dropped.

Please stop trying to pretend tariffs don't make it different. The market was at all time highs and inflation was down, then Trump decided to go all out on tariffs which cause prices to increase.

It would be stupid to drop the rate right as that is happening as it could cause even more inflation to compound on the inflation from tariffs.
going to come down to the last performers. Utah almost certainly beats us, just need UCLA and MSU to mess up enough
what does one have to do with the other? This seems pretty dumb, this guy didn't kill her daughter.
you realize these weren't strategic tariffs? This was blanket tariffs based on import/export ratios. There wouldn't be nearly the uproar if this was just a strategic tariff on certain items from certain countries. But blanket tariffs on all imports throughout the world is idiotic.
because when something like this is done through only an executive order, it can be undone day 1 with a new president.

First off, these are not the jobs we need back.

Second, who wants to invest billions in the US manufacturing knowing that a president in 4 years may just get rid of the tariffs and undercut what was just built.

The CHIPS act works because they were incentivized to come here and it was passed through congress. Much harder to undo, and it is much more skilled labor.

Tariffs do not, have not and never will contribute to inflation.

Lets see, inflation is a measure of price increases. Tariffs directly increase the price of certain items. Therefore tariffs will directly cause some inflation when enacted. It isn't that difficult to follow.

The market has not crashed. It only down 2%.

The market is down nearly 10% from when Trump got into office. Not sure how Biden could possibly get the blame for this. The market was humming nicely until Trump decided to go crazy with tariffs and change his mind every other day. The uncertainty is killing the market.

Along with concerns about more inflation due to tariffs since they directly raise prices.

yes it is
If winning by 1.5% is a landslide, I wonder what he thinks of someone winning by 4.5%

Sorry, but some of us still think Putin is a horrible dictator and we should not be friends with him.

If you say you want America first and to stop supporting Ukraine with so much money, I understand and while I don't agree, I can at least understand it. But to go full on supporting Russia and negotiating the fate of a country without that country even present is ridiculous.

Nobody is trying to argue Ukraine is all good, but Russia/Putin horrible. Sadly, the GOP now seem to fully support Russia and want to give Putin whatever he wants to end the war.

Trump has now blamed Ukraine for being invaded and his followers don't see anything wrong with that statement.

Which part isn’t true?

lol, the entire story. Maybe the Dr decided to no longer have patients that just don't believe in science. But not because of not getting enough money, haha. Just 2 seconds of thought about this and it so obviously just doesn't make any sense, but the anti vaxxers are all about fake stories on the internet to "prove" their point.
So the next time a Democrat is in the white House, you will be ok with whatever billionaire wants access to all this data because "who cares"? Sorry, I don't want either party just giving out all Americans data to whatever billionaire donated the most money.
I do love that the right suddenly 100% trusts the government.
