I mean I'm not for forced teaching of all things related but this seems like it is just teaching being nice to others. I'm not sure what there is to be against. I think plenty of people here could use a lesson on just being nice to others instead of thinking everyone not like you is the devil.

Show me where in Texas schools are forced to teach pride and I will disagree with it.
If it is an optional club or book, I'm on with that. Just like if you have an optional religious club that is fine.
But to force religion to be taught, and only 1 religion, is ridiculous and everyone here would be up in arms if it were any other religion than the one that you happen to believe in.

Haha, it's very obvious you have no clue what you are talking about and are partoti g whatever maga tells you.
Your link doesn't say at all what you think it says if you could read. And tsk tsk, resorting to name calling when losing an argument like you don't know what else to do. I just feel sorry for you.

An opinion piece from the hill, nice lol. Have you ever read an independent news source in your life?
Show me one person who set fire to a church who was then let go and no prosecuted as the "article" promotes is happening over and over. I'll wait. Just try to use your brain even a little, I knows it's hard for you though.

This is the problem with introducing religion to school. You are now having the government push one religion in particular when it should be staying out of it entirely.
If you are bothered if you replace bible won't quran or Christianity with any random religion, you don't support religion in schools, you just support your own beliefs in schools.
Just because you have faith in some religion it doesn't allow you to force your faith on everyone else.

More it is an easy way to push people away from Christianity. I am not religious but I respect all religions and religious beliefs. I will let my children make a religious decision on their own rather than trying to force something on them.
But when stuff like this happens I have to tell them the truth. A year ago I told them a bunch of religious politicians want to force the 10 commandments and Christianity into every classroom. And now they want to force you to leave their religion in a classroom because they know nothing other than than trying to force this on children. It is predatory.
At worst, teach all religions and let kids decide what they want to believe in. But Christians would be terrified of their own kids learning other points of view because they may turn away from Christianity.

The Bible is the most read and most studied book of all time. Should we just ignore it?
Yes, it is a religious book which should be kept out of schools. It can be studied at the college level.
If taught properly, you probably wouldn't like it, since it should be taught as a literary work of fiction. I would have less problem with that since it could go alongside things like Greek mythology.
But if it is tried to be taught as fact, that is wrong and completely not appropriate for classrooms.

And?
As long as they teach it as a work of fiction I'm ok. It is so dumb to force schools to teach one particular religion. Imagine how you dumbasses would react if this were the quran instead of the Bible.

lol, start a useless war, have Americans die, and end up having to pay Iran billions of dollars all for what? to get back where we started for a president who assured everyone he was not going to start any wars and was America first. Some people really will believe anything if the "right" people tell them it.

haha, booed to hell. But he will pretend they all loved him and everyone here will believe it because their leader said so. Go watch any video from the stadium, most people booed.

This is what I don't get, he absolutely is a criminal. But he got his people to just delay and delay until he forced his own department to drop the case.
But there is no doubt he is a criminal, but republicans just don't care about that anymore. They seem to gravitate towards criminals for their representatives for some reason.

His worth has about tripled since getting in office a year and a half ago. He is grifting so much and has made so much money it is ridiculous how anyone with half a brain could not see that if is using the office to enrich himself.
Trump thinks about one person and one person only, himself.

The guy has lined his pockets and has gained more money than any other politician in history. He has gained billions in net worth by taking advantage of his position. But republicans don't care because they worship the ground he walks on.
