impossible I was told by LSU fans no skill player is better than jmarr chase and no tight end would ever be drafted too 5

Their WR corps is already strong enough; a TE makes more sense.

Seems like the Falcons are looking to move JJ now.

That being said, given Ryan's age, there are some who believe that the Falcons could look for his potential replacement here.

The only qb Atlanta is interseted in that they can get is Mac Jones. Shannahan heard this and is why he traded up to 3 to make sure he gets his man. However, there are some in SF's organization who want Trey Lance. So if SF goes with Lance, then Atlanta will pick Jones to understudy with Ryan. Either way Jones is going 3 or 4. And I know McShay knows this because he is my source on it.

I think he is the best player in the draft. There just aren't any question marks with him. He was a dominant college player and I see no reason he won't be just as good in the NFL. He is a match-up nightmare.

If they are shopping jones, Chase should be the pick but it will likely be Pitts. Pitts won’t put up anywhere close the numbers Chase will in his NFL career. Chase/WR’s just have a long term durability profile over a Pitts/TE profile.

Falcons don't need another TE, we need a new QB pick that can be groomed. Ryan only has about 2 years left in with the falcons before he becomes a back up somewhere.

They need to trade or go after Fields or BYU QB.

This is silly.

Given Ryan's age and contract, you give him weapons right now.

Lawrence and Wilson are #1 and #2, headed to the Jags and Jets.

That leaves Jones, Fields and Lance, meh.

No doubt he's near the top, and based on his measurables, he very well could be.

Will that TE win you a super bowl?
Doubtful
That's way too high to select him with the players you will be passing on.

No one player ever wins a superbowl. I do think Pitts will make more difference at his position than any other pick available.

Plus they have 9 other picks to help shore up areas. You take the best player or you trade down and get two players. That's the move and Pitts will be the best available at 4.

Pitts would be the best receiver in this draft too. He’s not a little bitch for taking the year off either. Chase has no chest.

You do realize the only reason Chase opted out is because he failed one too many piss tests for weed, and was going to be suspended anyway right?

Tell us you do not know anything about football without telling us you do not know anything about football.

You can not name a better player in this draft for a team that does not need a QB. Pitts is the best player in the draft. He won't be drafted number 1,2 or 3 do teams like Jacksonville and Jets needing QBs. Do some of the teams in the top 10 have other glaring needs maybe but no prospect better.

Pitts will be a generational TE/WR hybrid that will take a good team and make them great. Will he win a team the super bowl. If that team has a Defense to slow the other team enough yes.

Isn't his contract kinda backheavy? May be hard to trade.

Give Ryan another weapon. That's their best chance to challenge Tampa Bay this year.

Ever heard of Rob Gronkowski?
Pitts is undoubtedly a top 3 pick. He's a total mismatch for defenses, and he grades off the charts. NO team will go wrong with Pitts as their 1st pick.

I think Pitts moves out to WR full time and becomes the next Calvin Johnson
