Way less money. These cities pay a lot of money to have them. I think it would be better on campuses, but it will never happen.
That is one rotten grapevine with how much BS comes from it.

You know fired our coach right..no one wants to watch our games. Guarantee for sure if Lane was here it would be like when Meyer was here...top 5 viewership pretty much every season. Very sad the top coaches in your history can't even crack the top 5..very, very sad.

Two bye weeks vs. one bye week, too.
I was taken back at first. Then I thought about a second. This may be better for the the team then we all thought Callaway would be the caller.

Callaway called the plays for the Blue tam in the Orange and Blue game
Ohara called the playes for the Orange tam in the Orange and Blue game

Orange team was the Dallas Wilson record setting spring game team.
"SP+ is intended to be predictive and forward-facing. It is not a résumé ranking"

Anyway you twist Florida has the tougherst schedule in the nation as a whole.

But yes the descrepency is criminal.

False information sorry
Teams that have won national championships should never storm the field for beating a team. Act like you have been there done that before.

So glad Gators have never stormed the swamp.

Only Mizzou fan would make a post celebrating playing on Thursday night against an FCS school.

That Bama/FSU line should shrink with the damn ACCheaters zebras.
He did the crime he has to pay the time. Simple solution moving forward is things like this should have to be put in the transfer portal database even after player transfers. Schools should check for it regularly. It should bot be up to the former school to inform new school it should be up to NCAA to inform player.
Stoops and Kentucky was one of the biggest offenders of the fake injury.

I wish they would have thought a little more out of the box. A player goes out due to injury and he has to stay out until the ball changes hands or a time out is used. If siad player comes in with out the above statements it is a 15 yard unsportmen like penalty. In close games no coach is going to risk losing any decent player for a whole series.
Regular season last year the SEC was 20-10 vs the other power 4 conferences. The BiG was 15-12 vs them.

Unless it is CFP post season does mean squat anymore.
Not that they are even considering this cause SEC headquarters are idiots, but they better system would be,,

South Eastern Conference Wins
I think the SEC's scheduling issues with the conference going to 9 games is going to bring the same unbalanced issues we see now(IE: Florida playing aTm 6 times since they joined vs UGA only once). The goal: minimize strength-of-schedule gaps, balance non-rivalry games, and ensure every 3-year player faces all teams. Here's my POD system idea:
POD Structure
Divide 16 teams into 4 PODs (4 teams each).
Cluster geographically, keeping in-state teams together (e.g., Vanderbilt/Tennessee, Florida/Georgia).
Example PODs:
South: Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Vanderbilt
East: Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Kentucky.
Central: LSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State
West: Texas A&M, Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma.
Cross-POD Rivalries
Each team gets one cross-POD rival to preserve history (e.g., Auburn vs.Georgia) or start new ones. (The Battle of Columbus USCe vs Mizzu)
This keeps traditions alive while adding fresh matchups.
9-Game Schedule
Play all 3 teams in your POD (home/away rotates).
Play your 3 cross-POD rivals (one from each other's POD; fixed annually).
Play 3 teams from a rotating "match POD" (non-rivals, for variety).
Yearly Match POD Rotations & Championship
Year 1: East vs. South (best record advances to SEC title); West vs. Central (best advances).
Year 2: East vs. Central; West vs. South.
Year 3: East vs. West; Central vs. South.
The cycle repeats every 3 years.
Tiebreakers
6/9 games are common between any two teams.
For ties: Use the record in those 6 shared games first.
This setup ensures balance, protects rivalries, and rotates opponents fairly.

Cross POD Rivals
East
Florida: S-Tennessee, C-LSU, W-aTm
UGA: S-Aubrun, C-Ole Miss, W-Texas
USC: S-Alabama, C-Mizzu, W-OU
Kentucky: S-Vandy, C-MSU, W-Arkansas
South
Alabama: E-USC, C-LSU, W-aTm
Auburn: E-UGA, C-Ole Miss, W-OU
Tennessee: E-Florida, C-Mizzu, W-Texas
Vanderbilt: E-UK, C-MSU, W-Arkansas
Central
LSU: E-Florida, S-Bama, W-aTm
MSU: E-UK, S-Vandy, W-OU
Ole Miss: E-UGA, S-Auburn, W-Texas
Missouri: E-USC, S-Tennessee, W-Arkansas
West
Oklahoma: E-USC, S-Auburn, C-MSU
Texas: E-UGA, S-Tennessee, C-Ole Miss
Texas A&M: E-Florida, S-Bama, C-LSU

Hmmmm
Kentucky, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt have yet to make an appearance in an SEC Championship Game.

I will give OU a pass since they have only been in the SEC for one year. The rest are bottom-tier SEC teams.

Those Nebraska squads had all Americans all over the field.

Umm, no, they didn't.

1995 Nebraska had 2 offensive players on the AA list, Tommy and center Graham.

2010 AU had 3 offensive players on the AA list: Cam, OT Ziemba, and center Pugh.

Nebraska had a lot on defense that year.

Nay, if you think so, you should watch Tommy Frazier's Nebraska highlights from 1995.
