With it appearing likely that quarterbacks will be selected with the first three picks of this week's draft, Atlanta could end that run with the fourth overall pick.

Pitts (6'-6”/240) is considered by many to be the top pass-catcher in this draft class, and he would give Matt Ryan another viable weapon to work with.

That being said, given Ryan's age, there are some who believe that the Falcons could look for his potential replacement here.

This is certainly an intriguing spot in Thursday's first round, as Atlanta's decision could have a major impact on what happens with the next few picks to follow.

The way they redid Ryan's deal, no way he's not their QB for at least 1 year, maybe 2.

It was always a matter of Pitts or one of the top WRs. I don't think anyone else was on the table.

Will that TE win you a super bowl?
Doubtful
That's way too high to select him with the players you will be passing on.

Pitts is probably the #2 or #3 overall player in this draft. If the Falcons don't get a strong trade offer or don't want to go QB this year, I would be very happy with Pitts, especially since Julio will not be on the roster after this season (at the latest).

I do wonder if they'll stay with this #4 overall or trade for more.

If McShay is predicting that then the Falcons will draft Fields. McShay is a clown.

Pitts doesn't address the key problems with the team, but neither would Fields or any other QB. I think Pitts can transform any offense immediately so I wouldn't be opposed to the pick.

Pitts would be the best receiver in this draft too. He’s not a little bitch for taking the year off either. Chase has no chest.

No, but one player doesn't make the team. They can't fix QB in this draft. Pitts makes the offense that much better. Old Man Juli, Ridley, and Pitts is one nasty group of pass catchers.

Pat is a legend but as a Chiefs fan, let me tell you that Kelce is the best offensive non-QB I’ve ever seen. If Pitts is Kelce 2.0 you do this without thinking as it’ll take Ryan to a new level and worst case give your next QB the best safety blanket possible.

I think Pitts is the best WR in this draft. Whether you call him a TE or WR doesn't matter - he will never be used for blocking

I hope not! I don't want him in the same division as the Saints. LOL

While I agree with you on the Chase sitting out issue (Was not a fan of that decision), Most of us know Chase is the best WR coming out! You just hate LSU so can't admit the truth.

that te is 6'6" 245lbs and ran a 4.44, and had like an 84" wing span, and was a great producer in college at a high level.
