Brando not only sucks for his involvement in CFB, he seems like a complete piece of shite person

I've honestly never heard anyone say anything remotely positive about him (other than OP)

They got Adam Zucker. Same voice, cheaper, and not as big of a douchecanoe.

"Quit being good at your job!"
"Why?"
"Because you make the rest of us look bad!"

Literally the same argument.

LSU went out, got a new coach and upgraded the hell out of their assistants. It's not impossible.

Too many schools are just like, "We should get a turn at being good because we want to."

Count me in the vast majority of LSU fans who got tired of Brando's schtik a long time ago.

I love Tim and agree on most things he says but he would rather have Baylor in Minnesota in the playoff and kick Bama out just because?

That's life. Their are elites, bottom dwellers, and various tiers between them.

Nope, he got booted because he is a huge eggheaded egomaniacal douche bag that was horrible at his job and his schtick was absurdly dumb.

It was the best decision by CBS to send his arse packing. He got his arse hurt when Bama got in 2011, won the game (made him look like a fool after all his comments on how Bama didn't deserve to be in the game and Lsu would blow Bama out)and has been even more of a Bama hater after he got shite canned.

saban really has ruined CFB in a lot of ways at least to the casual fan. The last decade everyone just knows ahead of time that bama is going to be elite and almost surely in the title hunt, if not the outright favorite to win the title. Every year.

This is true. Saban is selfish and he’s always been about himself. He should retire for the good of the game

I'm not listening to that but I can kind of agree with the overall mindset. This is gonna sound pouty or whatever, but saban really has ruined CFB in a lot of ways at least to the casual fan. The last decade everyone just knows ahead of time that bama is going to be elite and almost surely in the title hunt, if not the outright favorite to win the title. Every year.

And I dont' just have modern glassses on, I know that there have always been spurts of greatness along the way. But hell in the 90s you had a decade of 3 programs having that same elite status in FSU, UF, and Nebraska. ANy year could be one of those guys' years. YOu also had some really great programs behind them even if only for a year or 2 (teams like colorado, washington, etc). My point is, even if you thought FSU/UF/NU were the best team going into the season, you still felt like anyone in the top 10 had a shot at a title. Even if there was a small gap from the mega elites up top, you still had your OSU/Tennessee/etcs of the world that make things interesting. The last decade it feels like going into each season you have maybe 3 or 4 teams MAX that even have a remote chance.

Yep. Think about this year

Bama has 1 loss, no ranked wins, and only two wins over a team with a winning record, and we are still ranking them at 5 with a "shot to make it"

Thats kinda nauseating

What? He’s the number one advocate for the small schools getting a fair shake.

The way we treat group of 5 now is a sham. We only pretend they have a chance.

Saban can be really good at his job and it still make college football a worse entertainment product. The NBA just went through this with the Warriors. This is why scholarship limits were put in place 40 years ago.

Saban deserves all credit for his success (and Dabo, and Meyer...) but that doesn’t make for compelling television for more than the casual fan.

This is dumb. The G5 teams are actually treated way better today than they have at any point in history.

Brando is still alive? Huh, didn’t know that.

Alive and well. Thank God he wasn't watching the game with a bama fan................
