Verge is probably THE most politically connected individual at LSU in the past 2 decades. Believe it is his father-in-law in N.O. who Verge's biggest supporter & has the backing of the entire N.O.political machine. He may voluntarily step down but he's not being forced out. As for Peterson, she's a big supporter of AOC on the national stage, which says it all. She also missed 85% of her votes this past legislative session. And has a huge,self-admitted gambling problem.

I don't think it's a firing offense. I'm not even sure he did anything really wrong other than not follow university protocols, but the fact is that Orgeron is specifically named as the guy who called the woman in the Guice accusation.
