Karen, sister of my brother you only knew as Mullenboys

It is with a very sad heart that I inform you he has joined Jesus in heaven in a better place. When he handed me this ipad and gave me his password etc, I read back over the many posts he was in and found a part of him I never knew.
I'm crying as I type this , it's hard, but even reading his past posts were so much like him. He loved MSU 100% and was heartbroken with the loss of coach Leach.
To those who met him in person (Have the photos to show, even Ole Miss fans) he truly was a nice guy.
This is my last post, it's meaningless at this point. I have read the kindest words from all of you in the past week and it has meant a lot. I got my cousins and even my oldest sister to read.
Thank you all for such kindness on an athletic message board and care so much. God bless you all and thanks again - Karen

He has taken a turn for the worse. I'm not giving up because he's a fighter and if everyone here just took 5 minutes praying for him, I think miracles do happen.
Thanks to all his friends on here, this was his favorite website to mingle with other sec friends, I am completely heartbroken as he has been the best and most protective brother I could have hoped for. Just please take only 5 mins and pray for him. Thank-you, Karen

He gave me his ipad with his name and password to let you all know his status. He did survive surgery beyond odds but has a long way to go. He is still very weak and it's touch and go. You would have to know my brother when I tell you that the only words out of his mouth were " what day is this and did our basketball team make the ncaa? "
Please continue to pray for him. He showed me the response you great guys gave him when he asked for your prayers. He looks very fragile and weak and he has always been the backbone of our family. He believes in the power of prayer. Please help us and pray for him. Thank you so much! Karen

Going under the knife, again.

My last knife was supposed to be a simple surgery. I don't think it was "Simple" after all. I do believe something went wrong, like loss of oxygen during surgery.
I really don't know.
About to go under the knife again. My family are basket cases.
I may have a short time left on this wonderful planet and I love all you guys, even my Ole Miss peeps. I am hoping for a miracle and for you guys that believe in the power of prayer, do one for me, I really need it this time.
I don't feel right and I guess that's when you really know something is wrong. I want to leave you all with this and I realize I said it before....
Stop smoking if you do, it catches up with you. I'm not trying to preach because I did it myself. I realize my chances are slim but if I can just save ONE person on here then it will be worth it.
My wife died 3 years ago walking the dog, I was out of town. Heart attack. She was also a smoker, i'm not preaching as if I'm better than you guys. I'm just pleading with you who do smoke to think about the long term consequences, that's all.
Love you guys, I will either be back or I won't. All I ask are 5 minutes of prayers. I see people all the time where they say "Our thoughts and prayers are with the family" etc. i always wonder how cheap that is.
I'm only asking for 2-3 minutes of actual prayer that surgery goes right.

As many of you know I am very ill and have a doctors appointment this morning which is why I don't post as often much more. But lets gets beyond that, I wanna talk sports!
First, you guys think MSU is in the Ncaa hoops tourney with our win over Florida to get out 21st win? I would think so but the ncaa can be weird.
Secondly, it absolutely pains me to see Ole Miss running circles around MSU, baseball despite the fact we have taken the series in recent years. We are and have been a big time power baseball program.
It's true that covid shut down highschool baseball and we, like other power teams could not witness recruits in person while other lower teams got lucky and picked a bunch of good players. But that should never happen to MSU.
LSU sure recruited well, little mistakes there. Don't get me wrong, Miss State has a tradition of using 1/3 of the season (Win or loss) before settling on pitching rotation and 1-9 batting. It's how we roll. I like 3 pitchers really big right now, but we better find some middle relief and closers or our pitching coach will be gone.

Kinda fkd's up the last few minutes but we have gotten better every game. Our defense, which Jans is known for, can win this thing now. Love this coach. We are going dancing, trust me.!

I understand the hatred between LSU and ATM, but personally speaking, I was happy to have them in the conference. I have met a ton of aTm fans and not once had an issue. Very down to earth.
Texas (UT) fans on the other hand think their shite don't stink and think they are God's gift to everything. Sorry but give me aTm all day long. We are gonna regret having UT join. You guys will demand a bunch of BS within the first two years here. :doublebird:

Any win vs Texas is a solid win. They always have talent and one of the better programs. They have 6 National championships and have been CWC runner-up 6 times also.
So, yes, good win. Looks like it was a pitching dual, was that on an SEC network thru ESPN app? If so, I want to watch the re-broadcast.

Oh please, that game was back and fourth and that non travel call ABSOLUTELY could have been the difference. You take away 2 points from kentucky AND MSU gets the ball back.
