Houston 35 pushing Singleton before ball was thrown
Posted by NorthEndZone on 12/27/25 at 10:52 pm
Could not get to receiver that caught ball. due to offensive interference.
Good play design I guess if refs are incompetent to see it.
Of course no mention by clown Cubelic announcer.

What a brutal knee injury for Domanick Davis
Guys on the list with 60 or fewer NFL games played (except for young guys just starting career)
Tinsley 29 (3 seasons)
Davis 40 (3 seasons)
James 40 (3 seasons)
Toth 45 (4 seasons)
Gajan 45 (4 seasons)
Ware 47 (5 seasons over 7 years)
Hill 57 (5 seasons)
Edwards-Helaire 60 (6 seasons)
All RBs that had career cut short or reduced production with injuries (not sure on Tinsley and Toth). All were very productive when healthy. Brutal position for injuries.

Yeah. Tigervision was the way. Started in 1982. Before that it was radio only unless the game was on a national/regional broadcast. Usually it was the Alabama game and/or Ole Miss game that was televised plus bowl games.
quote:
TigerVision was the LSU Athletics Department’s in-house pay-per-view broadcast, which provided live coverage of select non-network-televised LSU football games from 1982-2013.
From 2009-13, games to be offered on TigerVision were announced as early as 12 days prior to the game’s date, or as late as the Sunday prior to the game. Under the SEC television agreement at that time, only one game per season was offered.
Additionally, TigerVision broadcasts were offered only to cable outlets inside the state of Louisiana and on ESPN’s GamePlan package outside of the state.

Just stain stuff. Still a PITA but not as bad as mosquitoes or gnats.
Key Facts About Blind Mosquitoes:
Not True Mosquitoes: They are freshwater midges (Chironomidae), not true mosquitoes (Culicidae).
Harmless to Humans: They don't bite, suck blood, or transmit diseases.
Attracted to Light: Their swarms often gather around lights, causing issues for homes and vehicles.
Messy Pests: They stain paint, cars, and indoor furnishings, creating large piles of dead insects.
Nuisance, Not Danger: Their annoyance comes from their sheer numbers and swarming behavior, not from biting.

Take that up with the pro football reference data guys.
The records I posted are regular season plus postseason games that a QB started.
All the comments about team they play on etc above are all valid points.
The goal of this post was to provide facts for reasonable discussion.

Nope. The records are the records.
I just see so many posts about this QB or that QB is good/bad/better/worse that I wanted to show the facts for everyone to consider.
Why the records are what they are is another topic for discussion.

re: If you could change one outcome of an LSU game which one would you chose?
Posted by NorthEndZone on 12/14/25 at 12:33 pm to LCBayou
2011 out of those choices.
I will also suggest the 7-3 loss in 2006 at Auburn.
A win there would have had LSU at 7-1 SEC with the tiebreaker over Arkansas for the SEC West championship.
Then LSU could have avenged its only regular season loss to Florida by beating the Gators in the SECCG and gone on to the BCS national championship at 12-1 - likely beating Ohio State for the national championship. Florida beat LSU 23-10 in Gainesville and beat Ohio State 41-14 in BCS NC game.

I can throw a few determinants in there if you'd like. :lol:
Overall 2026 schedule difficulty for all 16 SEC teams based on Sagarin ratings for 2025
Posted by NorthEndZone on 12/12/25 at 9:24 pm
Sum of current Sagarin 2025 rating of all teams on 2026 schedule divided by 12 to get the average Sagarin rating of the 12 opponents in 2026. The rankings are also shown in four 3-game amounts to show which 3-game stretch is potentially hardest and easiest.
Alabama = 156 + 91 + 52 + 238 = 537 / 12 = 44.75
Arkansas = 245 + 175 + 56 + 64 = 540 / 12 = 45.00
Auburn = 211 + 38 + 80 + 302 = 631 / 12 = 52.58

Notes:
Arkansas does not play the two lowest ranked SEC teams (Miss St. (56) and Kentucky (49)) and plays Utah (15).
Since a team cannot play itself, a highly ranked team's rating is biased lower and a lower ranked team is biased higher. But with a 10 or 12 game average the bias is not very significant.
Of course, with the transfer portal, teams can make a big change in one year for better or worse and these projected schedule ratings will likely end up being quite a bit different once the 2026 season progresses.
This is all just speculation at this point for fun.

Tennessee = 348 + 85 + 87 + 42 = 562 / 12 = 46.83
Texas = 150 + 67 + 85 + 78 = 380 / 12 = 31.67
Texas A&M = 220 + 89 + 246 + 46 = 601 / 12 = 50.08
Vanderbilt = 314 + 42 + 152 + 63 = 571 / 12 = 47.58
Texas plays Ohio State (1), UTSA (71), and Texas State (78) out of conference.
If you remove the 2 lowest ranked teams from each to look at the 9 SEC games and the highest ranked OOC team, you get...
Alabama = 156 + 91 + 52 + 238 = 537 - 265 = 272 / 10 = 27.2
Arkansas = 245 + 175 + 56 + 64 = 540 - 370 = 170 / 10 = 17.0
Auburn = 211 + 38 + 80 + 302 = 631 - 348 = 283 / 10 = 28.3
Florida = 384 + 58 + 31 + 103 = 576 - 358 = 218 / 10 = 21.8
Georgia = 390 + 33 + 69 + 84 = 576 - 343 = 233 / 10 = 23.3
Kentucky = 136 + 172 + 45 + 79 = 432 - 239 = 193 / 10 = 19.3
LSU = 139 + 260 + 91 + 80 = 570 - 307 = 263 / 10 = 26.3
Ole Miss = 240 + 63 + 44 + 235 = 582 - 356 = 226 / 10 = 22.6
Miss St. = 245 + 51 + 36 + 180 = 512 - 309 = 203 / 10 = 20.3
Missouri = 416 + 97 + 69 + 68 = 650 - 351 = 299 / 10 = 29.9
Oklahoma = 292 + 67 + 118 + 37 = 514 - 270 = 244 / 10 = 24.4
S Carolina = 422 + 91 + 42 + 78 = 633 - 366 = 267 / 10 = 26.7
Tennessee = 348 + 85 + 87 + 42 = 562 - 312 = 250 / 10 = 25.0
Texas = 150 + 67 + 85 + 78 = 380 - 149 = 231 / 10 = 23.1
