Mizzou, Ark, Texas and TAM are not Southeast.
Replace them with Tulane, Ga Tech, FSU, Clemson, North Carolina, NC State.

No matter how many years of realignment talk we have, this board is STILL overrun with morons who will not understand what expansion is based upon. You have to add teams that grow the payouts to the existing members.

This would have to be a law specifically for FSU to join. I just don’t see Miami being invited.

I don't understand how this would help though - ACC members missed their deadline to leave this year. It would be more than 180 days from enactment before they could depart. The language may specify 180 days to announce intent to depart from their current conference. As quoted though, doesn't seem to change anything. Which would completely make sense that even the amendment bungles the issue.

It was more appealing before the 19 team cap. If you went to 20 you could put ou tex atm mizzou and arky in a division, put South Carolina with the four best acc teams. And split the og sec back into east and west. I don’t think there is much benefit for sec expansion with the a 19 team cap. Without a threat of big ten invasion in the south I think the panic of being left behind by big ten is gone.

19 is such a strange number. 20 you can make 4 divisions of 5, 18 is also weird. Stay at 16.
If they allowed 20 and you have to go, you pretty easily go 4 divisions of 5, play your division and all over another. Play at everyone’s place every 6th year. I put them from highest to lowest rank in each division:
East:
Clemson
FL
FSU
SC
UNC
Gulf:
Bama
LSU
Ole Miss
Auburn
State
West:
Texas
OU
A&M
Mizzou
Arkansas
Central:
Georgia
Tennessee
Georgia Tech
Vandy
Kentucky
If you have to go to 20, this is the ticket.
If they allowed 20 and you have to go, you pretty easily go 4 divisions of 5, play your division and all over another. Play at everyone’s place every 6th year. I put them from highest to lowest rank in each division:

Per Ross Dellengher, p4 conferences would have 180 days to add teams or the five year rule would take effect.
Seems no brainer the SEC will be adding 3 teams as soon as bill is signed.
With Big 10 only having one slot, and SEC 3, the SEC is Big Cat daddy.
