If the SEC gets rid of the SECCG, they could kick Arkansas out of the conference.

FSU is a no brainer, but there are some people in Gainesville that might not like it.

Wouldn't be surprised if LSU was opposed, too.

And no, it's not about the head-to-head

It's the fact that LSU has been THE school in the SEC, for the Gulf Coast. Fla State would change that.

Kentucky is kind of like Missouri fans, tho.

We really don’t care about your opinion.

Isn’t Gainesville close to gulf of america than BR?

Check this out. I had google ai make a picture out of the map (which I guess explains some of the names

Now, add in the fact that LSU is on I 10, so it's an easy drive, too.

If you draw your line at the Mississippi then Arkansas will have to settle for MidSouth like Memphis - the same rule would apply to Louisiana

I’ve even thought about adding Miami just to keep the big 10 out of Florida but does recruiting matter as much as it did ten years ago?

You don’t add Miami because of recruiting.

You have to add Miami because they move the needle in New York City. Allowing the B1G to capture the NYC television market when they already have Chicagoland and Los Angeles would be a bad thing for the SEC come contract time.

Ahh,
Frankly, I didn’t even consider that, nor was I knowledgeable to know that NYC even has a contingent of Miami fans. But I could see that.

Louisville doesn’t add market. UK dominates Kentucky and has a presence in southern Ohio, southern Illinois, and the border areas of the Virginia’s.

Where would we add eyeballs would be in states like North Carolina and Virginia. Lots of eyeballs.

The best cultural fits are VA Tech and NC State. The money is with UVA and UNC.

It will come down to FSU, Miami, Clemson and North Carolina

I really hope it's FSU, Clemson and Miami

I don't think Virginia has any shot now

The only alternative I've seen that could happen is FSU and NC

Miami is a bigger football brand than North Carolina

SEC should have just pulled the trigger and added all 4 before all this crap happened

Not sure how 19 became the cap
