If this is true, then why is Sankey and the SEC supporting. It effectively caps the SEC at 16 forever. The SEC would never have interest in any G6 program.
If I’m a FSU , Clemson or any P4 program wanting in the B10 or SEC, I’d be planning on fighting this in court.
The whole premise of this act seems discriminatory and unconstitutional.
My limited understanding of our constitution gives us the freedom of association. The PCSA seems contrary to the spirit of this basic right we have.
Any lawyers out there care to comment?

No! How about we just kick out Texas A&M, Missouri, Texas and OU? Arky and South Carolina could probably take a hike as well as they don't really bring much to the table other than Arkansas occasionally making a Sweet 16 or spontaneously combusting in Omaha.

I just want teams from the Southeast!!!
Mizzou, Ark, Texas and TAM are not Southeast.
Replace them with Tulane, Ga Tech, FSU, Clemson, North Carolina, NC State.

If you have to add three, it's to
1) Make the SEC more $$$
2) Prevent the Big 10 from getting better
ND probably isn't available nor are current Big 10 members. In that case, it's Clemson, FSU, and North Carolina.

I am surprised that schools like Clemson and FSU are not kicking and screaming more. I am not surprised that the SEC is fine with the compromise. Even with the B1G getting its Notre Dame slot, they can rest easier knowing that the B1G can't raid their footprint in the southeast by gobbling up the best ACC programs. Discriminatory? No. Unconstitutional? Also, probably not. There are arguments that could be made and billable hours would win. Practically speaking, this is almost a hedge against potential anti-trust issues that could arise should the B1G and SEC continue consolidating power.

The only thing I can think of(and I don’t know the math for this but I remember big ten admin complaining about 18 being a tough number for scheduling) maybe having nineteen avoids that by giving you 18 opponents to rotate instead of 17. This is just a guess

Leagues should all be 11 teams.
Play a 10 team league schedule.

this topic has been discussed to death. It is entertaining to see how truly ignorant some of the posters on this site really are.
Expansion is about making more money for all members by expanding the tv market. It is not about how good the teams are or where they are located.
If this really happened, everyone would take a huge pay cut. If you are going to get rid of teams, get rid of the ones that are taking the most from the pot. Probably the first one on the list would be Vandy.

So glad Texas in the conference but it’s seems many of you Texas fans don’t want the SEC title game. I was at the first game with Florida in 1992. I’m one of those who values that game. I would not want to see it go.
