SEC Coaches say..."I'm against anything that hinders my ability to sneak into the Playoffs by any means necessary regardless of proving it on the field ".

You beat Georgia Tech like a drum every year. Do you really think playing a conference game before your ACC cupcake is really a big disadvantage?

GT has a better coach now and our last two games were rather close. Two years ago it took 8 overtimes to beat them in Athens. I fear that it is no longer an automatic win.

I’m a southern football guy and the SEC has become an embarrassment with the whining, It’s just human behavior caused by losses. It was only a few years ago the SEC would win big games and make fun of everyone else for whining.

Now, they haven’t won a big game in 3 years and they sound like ACC fans. Yet they still believe when they beat each other it’s a “big” win except the playoffs have shown the mighty SEC has fallen. ND spanked UGA two years ago. Ole Miss beat UGA in a fun game but then got beat by an ACC team. We won’t even mention what lowly Indiana did to Bama.

All I’m saying is where has the SEC pride gone? Stop whining about everything under the sun and start winning the games that actually matter.

Please don't think that this cohort is indicative of most fans.

Sankey will make no decision without the full backing of ESPN.

FIFY. He is owned by ESPN. Any schools get extra money for adding two teams or going to nine conference games?

You act like it's been a hundred years since we won a big game. Yes, Notre Dame got us. But what about Ohio State the prior year? I've been for a 9 game conference schedule forever so I'm not sure who you are talking to guy

If we remember correctly, Sankey was misled as well.

Wrong...

Lat year Sankey talked about the revenue side of the equation.

Now he is still talking like he values viewership over what is best for the conference programs.

The 9 game schedule is a death sentence for teams like Tennessee and Auburn.

Just watch !!

Don’t worry Jon, you will be paid $30 mil to sit around the house soon.

Excuse me, did you mean that Kiffin will be replaced by Ed Orgeron after failing to win a championship in 3 or 4 years?

I’m talking to the posters who have been whining for the past 2 years about everything under the sun.

Listen, I’m not anti SEC. I’ve been watching SEC football my entire life. And it’s been a fun ride even with the admitting of guys who could barely spell and paying guys like Herschel and Cam to win games.

But since it all changed with NIL, the portal, and playoffs a lot of SEC people have turned into whiners. This thread is a perfect example - 9 conference games and no cupcake before you play a bunch of nobody ACC teams and many here are acting like you stole their inheritance. GT and Clemson have been playing conference games for years before we play UGA and South Carolina and we aren’t whining,

All I want is honesty and if you are being honest most SEC fans are just pissed that they can’t keep their depth players now and everyone can now buy players. And the on field results have shown that the SEC is just like everyone else when the payments are equal. I give Kirby props for keeping his program in tact more than others but the playoff losses and closer regular season games have shown the depth is gone and the margin for error is small. The SEC is now just like what the ACC was with a couple of really good teams (UGA and Texas) and then a bunch of average teams. Sure, thise teams will be ranked because of the bias but does anyone really believe in any team outside of UGA or Texas? But I fully expect many SEC fans will believe the rankings and then will be shocked when they lose in the playoffs.
