That’s a total crock of crap. You guys aren’t losing games because of that tough SEC weekly slate that you guys use an excuse for everything. You guy’s are losing games because you aren’t as good as you use to be it.
FSU beat Bama in week freaking 1. Bama was rested and simply lost to a better team that day. That same team that beat Bama went on to lose 6 games to ACC teams.
Just stop with the excuses that everyone laughs at. This is the old SEC who had 4 and 5 stars on the depth chart. Those days are over because those guys niw transfer for playing time.

You're probably right. We're the only 2 programs that have to play Alabama and Georgia every year. Alabama and Georgia don't even have to play each other every year.

The reality is we are going to have a 24 team playoff soon. Then it will go to 32. NIL is here to stay as is the portal. I’m talking reality. It’s all these threads about “what should happen” that are lalaland. The sport is not going backwards to the old days. The courts have backed the athletes.
The only question is if all these fans who claim they are losing interest will actually stop watching or are they just blowhards.

So a room of 16 coaches costing $160,000,000 a year (just arbitrarily assigned a 10 mil average) got duped by someone that works for them (thru their university presidents) by not seeing the proposal approved at the Spring meetings, voted on by the coaches, and didn't see the "gotcha" in the wording? Sounds about right.
