I'm not naive, I know we won't be as good as last year offensively.
You simply don't just replace Burrow. What he did last year was incredible, between his accuracy, instincts, decision making, play making ability and consistency. It felt like a video game at times.
That said, I don't see any reason why LSU can't have a 'good' offense next year given the supporting cast. The jury is obviously still out on Brennan, he will obviously have big shoes to fill. He will though have an arsenal of weapons to throw to which should help out a bit. Losing AEH sucks as well because he was a tremendous back but I look forward to the young stable of backs we will use by committee.
I don't think Brennan needs to be an all star for the offense to be good. Hope it all works out, looking forward to seeing how he does.

But LSU is not reloading at QB. Y’all can keep saying it over and over but it isn’t true. Brennan May very well turn out very good, but there is a near zero chance he comes even close to what Burrow did.
As for the receivers, yeah it’s an awesome group but they definitely benefited from the QB. You’re not going to have the top 3 in receiving TD

Same as ole Gus? He had to hire Chad Morris to upscale his offense.

Brennan fall 20 TDS short of Joe and still have an insane season
We gotta I prove our overall run game, and defense.

Little premature there Willy.
But I assume you're used to that.

You can't just replace Joe Burrow. I almost never saw him make a bad decision in many games last year and his accuracy was insane. He also had no fear in the pocket (very rare). I've never seen a better QB season in my life. Edwards-Helaire was also a great weapon that will be missed due to his versatility.
However, I do think the offense will be really good again. Most teams will not be able to stop Chase, Marshall, the stud freshman TE, etc., with Myles just being solid. He doesn't need to be Burrow for the offense to be really good. But there will be moments that I am sure we will notice that Burrow is no longer back there.
So you know there will be at least a couple of losses? Might be even 3? No one will know. But I do know Scott Linehan from the St. louis Rams days when he was a coach there. Not very good!

Good thing we are hiring him not as a head coach, OC, or even a position coach. He’s a passing game coordinator.

The same coordinator that wasn’t very trendy or exciting before the passing coordinator came aboard?
If you're talking about Ensminger, he was only OC for one season prior to Brady.

So you're comparing his results as an NFL head coach to a college passing game coordinator?

I think the dude means that they're reloading in terms of building a good unit, not that Brennan will be Burrow and LSU will score 48 PPG next season.

Turned out well for LSU, but what’s that got to do with anything?
This has to do with a new coordinator saying they’re reloading not rebuilding

Typical low IQ Aggie. He has more experience than anyone on your staff.

It's 100% a reload. Think back to this time last year. Yes, we were excited for 2019 but many of us were already circling 2021 as a banner year, presumable because the '19 class would be juniors and Brennan would have a year under his belt.
My interpretation of a rebuild does not include such high expectations for year 2. And '20 has potential to be great as well.

Good thing LSU is not going up against any NFL defenses then huh?

I think its very similar to 2018, a ton of inexperience and first time starters.

People forget Saban tanked in the NFL!

You probably googled Joe Brady too.
I understand that too. It’s really just a ‘program’ thing.
LSU program can take an secRant-labeled ‘shrimp boat captain’ and a ‘saints reject’ and go win a national title with the best team ever.
It’s also won three in 20 years.
That’s a program.
You hire Jimbo at 75M and get your championship 2 point win and 50-7. Paint the picture; print the cups.
Interesting what programs can do for relative unknowns.
