I mean, if you're saying that Brennan won't account for 6000 yards ans 65 toughdowns I think all LSU fans would agree.

Yeah, that’s what I’m saying.
Reloading is silly talk. LSU could easily still be a title contender again though

Just because Brennan isn't likely to set records doesn't mean that LSU can't reload. There are 10 other positions that are all very talented and Brennan was a highly rated recruit. Teams that recruit well reload all the time. I don't see why people think LSU can't do it with the way we've recruited.

Because Joe Burrow has perhaps the best season by a college QB of all time. Sure, LSU is going to have a lot of talent but there is almost no way Brennan is going to be close to Burrow.
What kind of runner is he?

Even if he's 60-70% of Burrow, LSU can be in the playoff conversation. That is reloading.

He ran pretty good in high school. The question will be can he move around in the pocket to avoid the rush I think. Burrow was amazing at that. Our offensive line will actually probably more talented this year, but we'll have to see how they gel.

He's actually a pretty good runner. But Burrow had the best instincts I've ever seen for an entire year with running or passing. He was also one of the toughest SOBs I've seen play QB. Brennan does have a rocket for an arm. He actually has a much stronger arm than Burrow, but the accuracy is all that really matters. Burrow was extremely accurate. Myles' accuracy remains to be seen.

Lost in all this are the 2 sophomore running backs that could be pretty damn good.

LSU doesn't need him to throw 60 TD's and just 6 Int's. No, he isn't Joe Burrow. No else in the history of the game has been.
What Myles does have is a year sitting and watching burrow execute the same offense he ran in HS. Brennan put up over 16K yards for his HS career and 166 total TD.s his senior season he led his team rushing with 455yds and 9TD's. yes, these are HS stats, but you asked if he can run.
Still holds the MS hs career record for total offense. 16,168 yards), passing touchdowns (166) and passing yards (15,138)
The idea that LSU is going back to 2 wide, FB, up the gut 3 plays and punt is an SEC rant wet dream. That offense isn't returning. Some pieces will be changed, but go back to what Kirby said after the SEC championship. We run very similar plays and many times the exact plays as UGA and Alabama, but the difference is presnap execution. Burrow was one of the best at recognizing the MLB and safeties shitting, filling gaps, ect.
So when Linehan says he thinks Myles picked up a few things that and winning the game in the film room on Tuesday are likely what he is referring to.
One thing to keep in mind is this. Before he went down with a foot injury in the Vandy game(Week 4), Terrace Marshall led not LSU, not the SEC, but led the Nation in TD receptions for 2019. He finished the year with 13.
That is good enough for 4th in the SEC last season. If you consider that Jeudy and Jefferson are gone then that gives you a top 3 of.
1. Chase
2. Smith
3. Marshall.
Knowing this some of you really need to get an idea of the big picture. LSU isn't reverting back. It is in fact reloading at. slot, WR, and QB.

And last year everyone was laughing at O for hiring Joe Brady. How did that turn out?

“Says 1st year coach”.
Cool. Great story.

Turned out well for LSU, but what’s that got to do with anything?
This has to do with a new coordinator saying they’re reloading not rebuilding.

So why was someone posting “ “ and Linehan’s name?
And he is reloading, not rebuilding. He has a loaded and experienced WR corps, talented RBs, all of whom had some playing time, and who were pretty good last season. The O line is not as inexperienced as some think.
And the OC is not new. The passing coordinator is, but he is also an experienced coach who is not looking to install a new system.
