What I find funny is the inability for LSU fans to understand that the University has acted in such a way to make the other 15 member universities hate them enough to call a vote to expel them.

I hate to tell the SEC that it is not some private club. It is a business organization that signs lucrative contracts and disperses money to its members. As such, it must have grounds to remove a member no matter what the bylaws say. The SEC does not get to enact bylaws that cause real, measurable harm to one of its members. It does not get to undo those contracts on a whim.
LSU, all of its players and athletic department employees, and the state of Louisiana will sue. The SEC will be locked up in court for several years so much so that no one will want to take LSU’s place on risk of not being able to recoup investment.

Cool. Do it.
Get the two-thirds. Kick a founding member.
Then tell Disney why you just blew a hole in the media deal. Tell the other 15 schools they just signed up as co-defendants. Tell the players already sitting on a Louisiana injunction that “conference values” now mean years in federal court.
Meanwhile the B1G keeps adding brands and playing football. You get depositions and the SEC eats itself.

Yeah, that's the thing these idiots don't get. You're not going to get a brand anywhere near as successful as LSU while your conference and every member institution as mired in lawsuits, and you'll never touch a Louisiana institution again.
And you want to cancel games this season? I hope nobody was counting on ESPN money.
