re: Pay the man.

Or literally any potential coach...
All the open market baws don't seem to understand what open market implies when it comes to labor and talent...
quote:

Maybe the top coaches LSU will want aren’t pussies like the clowns melting about the Governor wanting a good coach without a ridiculous contract. And if he is, LSU doesn’t need him anyway. Landry says get a committee- find a good coach- pay him and reward success. If a coach wants a fat contract and guaranteed years, he can gonlet Floridia or Penn State pay him &away we keep looking.

You should be embarrassed for typing something so retarded.
Lol why would Lane want to come here with the governor publicly entangling himself in the Athletic department and calling out the AD.. While admonishing coaching agents and the contracts..
Because you can't make public statements that inflame the situation in an open market... This isn't a teachers union negotiation.. Top coaches can and will simply choose to not come here..

If the committee makes the decision that's fine. But the public statements that are being made are killing it.
Very government employee understanding of the market were in for coaches....

Having the governor publicly make statements like he has pretty much guarantees we are out for any top candidates. Sorry, Jeff doesn't dictate the market.

Now do his record vs ranked teams of any ranking.
I wonder how many programs have spent, NIL wise on women's basketball...

Reese had reported deals in the 1.6 mil dollar category...

It's no longer just about coaches. NIL spending can skew things a good bit esp if only 5 others teams are also spending similarly...

I guess it's a good thing we do a playoff to sort these things out now..
Adding Texas and Oklahoma to this league removed Auburn, Florida, and Bama from the annual schedule...

Can't say I'm super excited...

Slight change in scenario because I think the ball being knocked loose by the ball would be called incomplete but if he had been hit right before hitting the ground knocking the ball loose... We'd be debating fumble right now..
Why would you want it to stop?

Big 12 energy.
I've grown to hate the word 'optimal' when it comes to fitness.. Generalized advice is just that, generalized. It's a math equation.

In 5 years the things we think are optimal will turn out to be bullshite and 98% of results will come from the same basic principles weve known for years..

Overall I agree with what most people here have said he has some great things to say and you can get a lot out of it if you listen.. But just like Kacey means book.. It's too in the weeds, too indigestible for most people to be practical.

ND wins the national championship than this will go down as one of the weakest champions in history

This is such fricking cope. No... it'll go down as ND won a national championship
It's only took Aggys greatest championship run and the best recruiting class of all time to compete 50/50 during a significant rebuild period.

Congrats Aggy. Where's you cups?
I love that random weird shite is just some random dudes in pictures for LSU but it's so institutional at Aggy they call it tradition.

re: High housing prices...

If you import people faster than you build housing then you create a housing shortage. A housing shortage means higher prices.

Now go look up the private equity firms buying up housing and then check their political donations.

And now you've arrived at the game.

And this is just one pressure on the market.
